Okay, to all the people who think “the quasi star” is larger than UY Scuti and should be on this video, you are wrong. A quasi star is a hypothetical type of star that may have existed in the early universe. It is not a star discovered and definitely not the largest star discovered. Yes, if they were real, they would be larger than UY Scuti, but they are only hypothetical.
Yes they are hypothetical but it doesn't means they haven't existed , all reason why we dont see/find them now is that they used their "fuel" very fast so in short period of time , like only 1 billion years they were dying. So we're lucky that there no such stars now near to us , cuz explosion of such star would destroy at least couple planets , and im not even talking about their turning into dark holes , only super nova and afterlife as neutron star

A few corrections: 1) the sun is a medium-sized star, not a dwarf; 2) Vega and Deneb are white to blue-white, not orange or red; 3) R Doradus and all the "red giants" bigger than it are supposed to be supergiants.

Hypergiants are spectral class 0, and Supergiants are Ia or Ib. Normal giants are II or III, sub giants are IV, main sequence stars are V, subdwarfs are VI, and white dwarfs are D. The spectral class D is also called VII sometimes.
