  • What is at the core of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra’s collaboration with Artistic Partner Mitsuko Uchida?
The Mahler Chamber Orchestra is proud to be Mitsuko Uchida’s exclusive orchestral touring partner for the next five years. From 2019 to 2023, we will bring our programmes - based around Mozart’s piano concertos and also featuring works for chamber orchestra - to multiple cities in Europe, North America and Asia. We look forward to returning to the prestigious Mozartwoche in Salzburg, Southbank Centre in London and Carnegie Hall in New York for performances in each of the upcoming years.
Celebrate this exciting new chapter in the MCO’s collaboration with Mitsuko Uchida together with us!

We loved your Mozart concerti performance at Zellerbach, Mar. 24, but the orchestra was far too overwhelming drowning out your runs, passage work. Please reduce the size for a better balance. After all it is chamber music.. esp. K. 453...
