Ganymede is my favorite perfume. That mineral note is the best and has citrus, fruits, woods and spices that will be present at certain points while you can smell it as it has great longevity and those transitions is what sets it apart from others that have the same airy style french perfumery
I don't like this fragrance personally there's like a metalic note or something that puts me off. Get Essential Parfums Boisse Imperial same vibe just fresher and more wearable

Absolu Aventus is battling for the top spot of my wife's favorite fragrances of mine. We both absolutely love it! To me, Aventus was always kind of meh. Was never inspired to buy a bottle no matter what batch I smelled. No regrets buying this version...twice...
L'Envol EDT has a light mead smell to it on top of the powdery floral Cartier accord. The EDT is much less iris and sugar forward but the performance is also light. The bottles look awesome. It's one of the classiest smelling things I own but you're probably correct to steer people towards the EDP.

I’ll check out a sample of Absolu some time in the future. Creeds were my sigs in the 90s/2000s but I haven’t bout a bottle in about 15 years. They lost preeminence on the upscale market due to reform game playing and price gouging. Hard to resume. I was given samples of Viking; nothing burger. But I will eventually check out Absolu. Thanks man.

I let me coworker smell. He immediately didn't like valentino uomo intense . He only liked born in Roma intense. He is Def not fragrance guy.
It remains forever puzzling to see you Ash and most reviewers always emphasizing how much you like this or that opening. It´s like reviewing light bulbs which produced a certain flash nuance when turned on, then settles to its actual light color output. But reviewerss would keep talking about that initial flash, oh man it´s so beautiful when you turn that light on! The richness, the brightness, the colors, amaaaazing, most amazing flash ever... Well, just like flashes, openings do not last long. Just as any initial flash from a lightbulb will not be part of the actual steady light remaining after it, same with openings from fragrances. Openings are not the fragrance. They are just a very perishable part of them. In fact the most perishable part. If you have 6h to wear a fragrance, and the opening lasts 15 mins, that's just ~4% of the wearing time and experience. It won't be part of more than 95% of the wearing experience. You know what that means? Whenever a reviewer talks about an opening longer than 4% of the total time s/he uses to comment on the fragrance, another little puppy dies ;)

Coral Fantasy is sadly one of the worst cologne i have smelled, it gave me such a bad head ache off of only one small spray, and it over all did not smell like a normal born in roma fragrance, almost like a Paco rabanna
This is fragrances are subjective because I totally disagree. It smells Amazon to me. Yeah I think it’s over priced but for me if I take tht hit tht means I really love it no matter the price point.
My wife and I bought YSL MYSLF for me and YSL libre le parfum for her, we both love them, got compliments from coworkers.

Great to see Cartier l’envol getting some love. It is 100% one of my favourite fragrances out of over 200 that I own. Classy, gorgeous stuff
