This is one of my favourite charts, other one is the European Town (also known as the Green Village)
My vote is 14ct because i only work in 14ct!
The reason i work on 14ct is not because of size or price.
because for me, the bigger the better! Which is why 11ct is soooo tempting! But the only reason i always end up choosing 14ct is because of 2 strands vs 3 strands on 11ct.
With 2 strands, the kit strands are cut PERFECTLY long, so i only grab one strand, fold it in half and then i can start with LOOP START!
I have the Ambilight in 14 count so I can start it for the stitch along. I was thinking of using seed beads on mine too but I think I'll wait and check out the spool of metallic/shiny thread I ordered like the Kreinic to see if it's easier to stitch with and if it is I'll order the other colours and use them, especially on the water area and the lights in the windows. I don't think that I'll over do it.. less is more.
I have the 14ct, I have started it done some of the sky, bridge and tree trunk. The canvas is stiff, but I'm doing it in hand so is good for that 😊

I have this in 11 ct by Maydear. It truly is very beautiful and exciting to look at the colors. Both maydear and joy Sunday are good brands for these printed canvases. Super fun!

For these big canvases I use a quilt frame. Works great.

@@Lovecraftforever Yes, they do look amazing! I have only done one colour so far, so I'm reserving judgement on the quality for later. I am starting to look for a cross-stitch frame or standard, though, because it's BIG.

Did you manage to find a frame to fit ?
@@XxxJaneXxx Lol, i'm not even a quarter of the way through making it. New mom with too many hobbies and not enough time. I'm not worrying about a frame until I've at least 80% done. I do have a few places I can go to have a new frame built for me.
I have this in 11ct as well.
I think for beads, sequins and gems 11ct should be better as you’ll need more space to fit them in. I do like how 14ct finish products come out though. 🤞🏻
What is the best count to start crossing and best kit to start with to see if you like it
When you have a kit with gold metallic thread, do you use the entire thread or do you separate it into strands? As for your ideas, they sound fabulous.
Thank you for your unboxing! Have you started it yet? I have the 11ct one, and I am having hesitation starting it. The paper symbols do not match the symbols on the canvas. So when I roll up my canvas to stitch in hand, I have to unroll it to look for the next symbol. I have tried to take photos, but with 115 colors, I am getting lost. I hope that makes sense, lol! I am just wondering how you handle it?

I odered 11 count because the 14 count was sold out and I didn't want to wait. I like both counts but will buy 14 first if it's available. I think blinging it out is a great idea, I thought about adding some Kreinik in and a few seed beeds when I get mine. A stitch along for this one is a great idea, I would definitly participate! Now I can't wait to get my parcel!!!! I'm on vacation and have fell behind on your videos (sorry) so I'm fitting them in a little bit at a time, Vacation ends Saturday, if I'm not caught up by then I will finish up on the weekend!
