I considered XH my ult the second I discovered them. Something about them spoke to me. They seem so special and unique and different from what I've seen in the kpop scene, not just because of them being a band. Also if you listened to more KARD stuff, they'd be your ults too 🤭 ( but I know you're busy lol, that's not me asking for more.)

So, take this w/ a grain of salt bc I've never gone to a show in Korea and am not Korean myself, but from what I've heard/read a lot of venues have pretty strict rules against things like moshing and even jumping around. Part of it is just cultural, it can be considered impolite and distracting from the performance. But those rules may have also intensified after the Itaewon halloween tragedy in 2022 where a crowd crush killed 150+ people. They're understandably much much more cautious about crowd behavior now. A friend who worked in Korea like 10 years ago went to concerts and stopped to watch buskers all the time; he said they were usually a bit more chill than they would be in the states but not by a lot. But he talked to friends back there recently while planning a visit and they confirmed that especially crowds at big festivals and such are noticeably less physically energetic in the last year or 2, ppl seem much more aware of proximity in large groups.

Okay that makes a loooot of sense! I’m always really confused about that when I watch concert videos 🤔
Btw sorry for the really late response 💔

That makes a lot of sense honestly. I hate when XH posts concert clips on Insta or shorts here on YT and everyone in the comments makes it seem like the crowd is bored or something. A lot of people seem to commenting from America where jumping and screaming is common, but they don't understand the cultural differences or general concert rules.

@@maesreacts_ also if you want to see them perform at a venue where the crowd goes insane, look up their performances at the JUMF festival
