The story about broken arm man at the start deserves a crude animation complete with flailing limbs. That's quite the fan interaction! Also can't wait for the Beth and Carrie razors edge video! They're awesome together! Huuuuu!!
Great job you guys! One of my favorite trails. The alarm you were hearing from Lafarge's Exshaw plant is a warning for blasting in the quarry. I got to intern for a summer a couple year back, it's a really cool operation. Here's to taking on Razor's Edge this season! 🍻
Awesome, Love prospector! I spent 16 years as a powerline forester, much of that was spent working for fortis around Canmore, K-Country, Banff and Crowsnest which allowed me to discover so many cool places. I actually worked that whole line that runs East/West at the bottom of the mountain there
Hey Ryan love your videos but this summer if you come out to whistler you have to make a pit stop at Silverstar bike park in Vernon it’s rated top 5 best bike parks in Canada the trails have perfect hero dirt almost all year round from the dense trees and amazing flows trails and super gnarly tech.
Saw the original prospector video earlier this season and put it on the ride list. Fast forward to last week when I went to ride it, I did not hug the tree on the choose-own-adventure slab, went over the handle bars and fractured my elbow. Its funny cuz I sound like the story at the start of the video. I’ll conquer it next year!!
That music you found to accompany Beth's singing was perfect! You guys need to finish that song and use it as the intro to future Beth and Carrie get scary adventures. It is so catchy and you guys crack me up, more please :) Great job on picking your battles as well, better to come back if it doesn´t feel right :)
A couple weeks ago I hit the same hole popping off that ramp at 5:34 in the video. I too used every bit of the front fork. It was a hard hit. Super fun trail.
Cool to see you still running those Fasst Flexx bars...and Beth too. I've seen a couple reviewers put them on and review them, but then later posts have other bars back on. Are you noticing significant improvements to how your hands/arms/shoulders feel?
Beth and I have both noticed a pretty significant change in how our hands/arm/shoulders feel with the FF bars, so we don't have any plans to take them off our enduro bikes. And just to be 100% clear, we have no affiliation with FF, and there's no expectation on us to keep running them. We just like them a lot!
Seems like the trail got better! Been wanting to hit that drop but seeing you not doing it, maybe it’s still too much for me. 😂 maybe few more years. Lol
13:34 Depending on the time, that alarm signals lunch or quitting time for the workers. They have similar things at most industrial plants, mills, and refineries.
one of my favorite trails in the area for sure, and yes that drop on the ridge has been taunting me for years, maybe this will be the year I finally hit it. well done Beth and Carrie, you both did awesome. that rocky section with the steep roll at the end is no joke, the camera does not do that trail justice at all
The drop is intimidating and does require commitment but the landing is pretty good and you don't need much speed. It also scared me off for years but did it for the first time last year and now it's one of my favorite features!
@@yycmtbr5087 totally get that its all in my head, I feel its well within my skill set. just getting the guts up to actually commit to doing it, I feel once I do it once it will be a no brainer from that point on each time I ride the trail
@@Catnap_fans based on the marks on those trees you are not the only one whose encountered them lol, few people i have talked to about it have said go slow into it and once on the wood let the brakes go and that will be a good speed
Beth still mullet-ing the Ripmo? Is that why she caught her bottom bracket? It seems that the fact that trail features are made equally bad is universal! Why do jump landings always have trees in the run out?
MAN! I've followed all your guides on GoPro settings and recommendations but my quality is nothing like yours! How do you get such clear footage at those speeds?!
Awesome video. It’s great to see you guys out doing some of the trails here in southern Alberta! Prospectors is on my bucket list! No chance for Razors Edge though.
At least this way you get somewhat of an idea of what Richard's edge is going to be like Excellent video and perfect perspectives from all three of you with different writing styles and confidence between each person you all did fantastic riding
Just completed this trail, can confirm it is much steeper and more technical than it appears on video. Watch that exit on the large slab, she’s chunky.
Do you use a Garmin HRM? Which one do you recommend? Do you use it for more consistency and accuracy? My watch sometimes says 89 when Im clearly working hard.
Awww they took out that little rock and replaced it with that bridge you were struggling with, boo. I heard there is a new technical trail on Prospector that I'm going to check out in the next couple of weeks.
Over rated trail. Unless you’re one of those people that like punishing yourself up that brutal climb. Everything up there after the climb is not worth it. Many better options in the area.
@@jond1915 just giving my opinion. The guy with the two broken arms went up there based on one of these videos. Just want to give a different perspective. I am not a fan of this trail or the features built on it. Many other fun trails in the area.
@@jasong.5165 not arguing or disagreeing, I usually ride it once a summer but definitely not a go-to for me. Also that 2 broken arms guy was on a different trail I think

real curious on those bars but can't swing that rn..pricey..
watcha y'all do for bear protection out there??love to see a mountain biker's perspective..its never talked about..i just had an incident
I'm calling it right now. Beth and Carrie get scary MUST be a series. They make a really fun combo to watch.
Ya their mix and commentary was fantastic!
The story about broken arm man at the start deserves a crude animation complete with flailing limbs. That's quite the fan interaction!
Also can't wait for the Beth and Carrie razors edge video! They're awesome together! Huuuuu!!
also big thumbs up to the Beth and Carrie get Scary series, their commentary is awesome
Riding was awesome, but I think I was even more impressed by Beth's vocal stylings and Carrie's freestyle flowing rhymes!!🔥🔥🔥
Great job you guys! One of my favorite trails.
The alarm you were hearing from Lafarge's Exshaw plant is a warning for blasting in the quarry. I got to intern for a summer a couple year back, it's a really cool operation.

"If I die, I die..." that's the attitude! Going to remember that next time I get to a feature i've been putting off, thanks Carrie 🤘🏼

Good ride! I like Carrie's sing😂 Can't wait for the Razors edge video!
Loved this episode, all of you having fun on the trail and pushing your limits was awesome to see. Top job all three of you.
Please more of Beth and Carrie get scary 😁🤩
I liked how they wanted to stay within their comfort zone. I think that helps build my confidence to go out more. I am down with more Beth and Carrie.
Funny i was just about to say is this not razors edge but then realized were far from home. Cheers you two
Heck yeah, Beth and Carrie! Can't wait to see Razors Edge too. Confidence sound = "GRRRRRRRRR" haha!
These trails are always so hard and fun at the same time (:

Those gals are funny and are really fun to watch 😀

More Beth and Carrie get scary segments!
I totally want to take that "Confident Sounds" strategy! Nice riding!
Definitely not Serena or Venus grunts or shrieks... How about some Denis Shapovalov "C'mon" after he hits a backhand winner.
13:34 Depending on the time, that alarm signals lunch or quitting time for the workers. They have similar things at most industrial plants, mills, and refineries.
Or it's a practice alarm. Some places have these daily at a specified time to check wether the alarm system is still functional.

Gotta take it really slow because going deep on it sucks and it ends up being a lot bigger than intended. Oh also don’t hit that tree(I did haha)

Had a buddy get a video of me doing the last, bigger slab last year. I will never show it to anyone because it looks so small and insignificant.
Great video Carrie was awesome and had me cracking up!
I love getting to see different skill levels riding together with everyone just having a good time. One of the reasons I love mtb.
As man, Beth and Carrie are awesome.
Woah, that was intense!! The big drop definitely looked scary to me on camera lol. Way to kill it and not break your arms 💞
More please
Nice job ladies
RIP to Blue Falconer and cheers for the laps
That was my buddy that broke both his arms. You helped take our bikes to the parking lot
A guy broke both arms? Reddit lore intensifies!
Beth still mullet-ing the Ripmo? Is that why she caught her bottom bracket?

Time to change the name to "the loam rangers"
11:54, the slab/line to the right of the one you took is a hoot. Do recommend.

I don’t watch much of your videos but this one was really cool thanks
Nice views and nature :)
...and Carrie’s new biking name is now Serena haha
Do you use a Garmin HRM? Which one do you recommend? Do you use it for more consistency and accuracy?
My watch sometimes says 89 when Im clearly working hard.
There's a better, natural drop further up on the ridge (before the little wooden guy into the tree) that you'd probably all enjoy a bit more.
More cameras = more better!! Great video. Must have been a ton of work to edit.
I saw the Pole in the intro and got nervous for a second. I love ibis bikes and they seem like a great sponsorship partner!
Loved this, trail looks like so much fun!
Should do DogDazes next time
Awesome video ladies and gentleman!!
My friend went on that trail last month, very hard trail and fun
Is that a garmin watch you ride with? If so which one is it?
Carrie, Beth. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

*Serena Williams huuuuuh*
That is some strong riding my friends. 😀
Gonna go ride that this week, so good :)
Awesome video 👍🔥
More of this and the singing!
4:05 bars 🔥 🔥 🔥
👍👍👍
I would be scared as hell to use those handle bars😂
I say yes, more episodes.
A few more shots from Ryan looking back up a feature to see how Beth & Carrie handle it would be useful.

i call cap on 2 broken arm dude
I cling to the hope that one day my wife will let me buy her a mountain bike so I can share my passion with her.
in the mean time, just buy yourself two :)
@@jaredgulaga8367 Already have two. She's about a foot shorter than me or I'd get another one "for her", haha
