Except the one about constantly being recognized as Gustavo Fring, drug kingpin and owner of Los Pollos Hermanos, the fictional chicken restaurant chain in the Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul / El Camino Universe. I’ve seen so much more of Gus than Giancarlo that it’s almost weird seeing Giancarlo act like himself ‘cause he portrays Gus so damn naturally
It's also funny because Giancarlo is super warm, funny and lively in real life. I don't like that he gets typecast as these cold ruthless villains now, he has so much range.

I am fully convinced that Gustavo Fringe is just an alter ego that Giancarlo Esposito has no control over. Gus just randomly takes over.
Gus was probably my favorite character on breaking bad. I love how quickly he could shift from a warm smile to straight cold blood. Gave a little shiver every time.

It’s like listening to a toddler talk about dinosaurs and a ceo talking about financial managements at the same time lol
His ability to switch on accents like a switch is absolutely incredible. How in his normal speech, he barely has any inflection of his natural language until he turns on Gus, and it’s extremely clear in every word that Gus is not from America but is incredibly well versed in English.

I could listen to Gustavo reading a telephone book and I would not get bored at all :) He has a way of using his voice + vocal tones, density and variable speed making whatever he says interesting.
He is a good singer, he sung in one of the interviews with the breaking bad cast.
That opening part is about me. I've never met or even been in proximity to Giancarlo Esposito, but I still feel like he reached across time, space and the continental United States to mock me for being a "jacked" dude who can't lift a lot.
