I needed something to drag me with my board on wather when i do not wakeboard.I both a 9m and 12m kites to fix the problem.Then i realised if i pull the bar in full power with it at 12 o clock and put in the wind, i can fly and serious stuff cand happen to me.So i left this for professional paragliders, no thanks,:))).Cool stuff man, i see you have red on the right, i do not even want to see thoese lines!:))
i am a beginner to intermediate and have towed my 12m kite with my car a couple times (nothing Crazy 30-50m max). do you think it would be risky for me to try this on my trip to Austria? or is gliding down mountains smth i should leave to the professionals?
Towing with a car without a winch and a trained person handling the winch is more likely to kill you than flying from a mountain. For both things experience and education in Paragliding would be good. google paraglider towing accidents or towing lockout to understand tthe danger you put yourself in... Getting yourself liftet fron an anchor like a tree is even more dangerous! Don't do it!
with skis it is quite easy to fly forward. I use normal setup. You need to see what suits for you better, some do with normal harness, some with seat harness
@@schnee17 I guess the question was regarding the direction of the leading edge. Normally, when having kite at 12, your leading edge points backwards, but i guess you have to steer your kite so that leading edge is pointing forwards, to fly like that. Is this right ?
@@robinsilber2569 He is just holding the bar the other way. Right hand is on the red side (port side). The switch is done in the beginning of the video.
@@schnee17 Well, in the extreme ( and rather academic :) ) case, if the wind would be extremely strong, you could actually fly with leading edge pointing in the opposite direction you fly. But I guess this is never the real case :D

hmm. depending on weight and so on.... Normally a 11m open /closed Cell kite is good for snowkiting.

haha if you jump or are doing kiteloops you should worry much more about your lines. By just flying the load is not so high on the lines

haha I dont know. Depending on your skills and so on. If you snowktie first time I dont reccomend it. Safest way is to learn it step by step

I am a bit confused about the steering. Normally you would fly backwards with the kite, not forward as you do. What's your setup?
