I love this set man. Lima is always a blast to watch, their punish game is art. AK is one of the best decision makers I've seen, I'm so happy to see him doing great.
i actually think lima is playing this mu really well. this mu is just soul draining. the grenades are just too much. it kills, it breaks combos, it does damage, it zones, it's just too good. and then snake's tilts are pretty much all better than bayo's. this is just an impossible mu if the snake is playing optimally. out of all her -2 matchups, i think this is just the worst. i think lima might just have to learn another character for this mu.

I was stating how difficult of a character Bayo is in general, you really have to get an opening while Snake can just camp & not have to approach. Not saying Apollo isn’t good.

I've seen his other major tournaments too and he was playing better than he normally does this set. And in the 2nd set, when Apollo started to camp even harder, Lima's mental exhaustion from the match up really started to show. To win this match up lima basically has to correctly read the opponent every time. Snake disables bayo's specials + dash attack with grenade, and bayo can disable snake's specials with witch time, but snake's normals are still bigger, faster, hits harder, and has higher priority than bayo's. And Apollo is really intelligent too, so reading his behavior right every time during their first encounter (afaik) is just infeasible.

I definitely noticed that AK was catching onto Liam’s pattern of using witch time and following up with side smash. I literally yelled, “HE’S GOING TO KEEP SHIELDING! GRAB HIM!” Yet, he kept using side smash instead.😞

Lima had this, he’s still getting pretty nervous during grand finals, bayo is such a difficult character.
