Love your video. I am from Canada but now live in USA and I wanted to learn more about America's celebration. It is as I remembered. I lost the celebration vibes in 2001 when I lost all my grand parents. For some reason, they were the glues that was holding the whole family and everybody went separate ways after they pass.

I noticed that Easter is very celebrated by Americans, right here in Brazil it is most appreciated by Catholics, the Friday before Easter is a national holiday and is called the passion of Christ, Saturday is called Hallelujah Saturday, and Sunday is called Easter Sunday, during this period Catholics in memory of Christ's death and resurrection, make processions in streets decorated with themes about the biblical story of Jesus' ordeal, reproduce in the form of a theater outdoors for large crowds all the suffering of Jesus Christ until reaching the ordeal and the most fervent in the faith practice penances such as going 40 days without eating meat and at Easter lunch, families get together to eat a plate of fish meat, especially cod is a tradition here at Easter and of course, for children, they are waiting for Easter Sunday to see if the Easter Bunny brought the chocolate eggs as they believe so

In Brazil Easter is celebrated in a similar way, but I think that in the United States people are more concerned with the issue of decoration than here. For us Christians it is a great day, because we can remember that Jesus died so that we could have life and life in abundance !!!
