How has your hang board held up, I got the black one and need to hang it was thinking something like this. Kind of worried that the pressure from the mount is too localized and will wear on the mount-
Since I've made it I haven't had any issues with the mounts or the hangboard. Overall it has held up great and feels surprisingly sturdy. While I can't guarantee your setup will hold up like mine worst-case scenario you can always replace parts of the mount at a relatively low cost. is this a variation of something you got from Geek Climber at ruclips.net/video/Cu-MrncHpJo/видео.html ?? Because it's the same Pull-up bar, and you use a lot of the same pieces. If so, it probably deserves a shout out ...
The original design is on betterclimberproject.wordpress.com/2013/02/13/diy-doorway-hangboard/ which I did shoutout. Pretty sure Geek Climber actually copied that design so he is not the original creator. Aside from that I also improved on the design by removing the backboard and using bolts to secure the hangboard. If my design was just an exact replica of a design that already existed I wouldn't have bothered making this video.
