@@Mike-Capz83 that oil burning issue on the V6’s can be fixed by removing the valve covers, and putting them through a “hot bath”, or acid based parts washer to remove the built up carbon the the PCV vented pathway on the underside of the valve cover. The drain holes clog up over time, and condensing oil Vapor gets sucked out the PCV into the intake, instead of dripping back down into the engine. I cleaned mine up, and it quit burning oil, and smoking on startup
@@Baffi_ just an update, it was still burning oil, every time i changed the oil i would use full synthetic oil, but last month i changed the oil to castrol gtx high mileage, and it hasn't burned any oil, still at the full mark!
This body style of Suzuki Grand Vitara has aged well. Hard to believe this review came out nearly a quarter of a century ago when the compact SUV segment was just taking off. As I look out my front window, I see black Grand Vitara in my elderly neighbour's driveway. I think they bought it brand new and still have it. Still rust-free thanks to being in BC.
The third gen ones styles has held up very well. They looked similar to the RAV4, and Toyota held onto the design of the RAV4 so long, that the 3rd gen ones still look like they fit in with the newer SUVs
