In my opinion yes it is expensive and hard to get for a 2m C$ mid rod but you gotta understand that a nlr is way harder to get This rod should be in the middle of rotd and nlr better than rotd but also a little bit the same to nlr Stats should be 35% lure speed 185% luck 0.2 control 25% resilient Inf kg And 12% - 15% to get heavenly mutation Just my opinion
the stat you're asking for is way too op. you're basically asking for the best feature a rod can have, basically the perfect rod. you're being unreasonable - beam strikes for the passive is way too overkill, you truly are being unreasonable. the resilience is already pretty high what do u need that beam for? - insta-catch, basically this is either a dealbreaker or dealmaker for everyone. its lure speed is okay, i think achieving insta-catch with the expense of hasty enchant and seaweed bait atleast is perfectly balanced for this rod. it's pretty reasonable considering its tremendous stats so basically you are all willing to trade off ANYTHING just for that instant catch. and that really shows. the only thing that this rod needs buffing is possibly increase the probability of getting heavenly enchant to 15% instead of 5%

Honestly i think it's pretty good, the only thing i don't like about this is the 2nd passive Instead when the passive activates it should "revive" the progress bar to a quarter of completion, that way people can't abuse the progress bar decrease but still gets a second chance
Only person that disagrees here. Destiny rod is only not used because of low lure speed AND it’s impossible to catch anything. This rods stats are pretty balanced as it’s between rotd and nlr in progression. Maybe only a slight buff but not to stats only to passive and still it should be like 15% chance for heavenly and nerf heavenly mutation to 4x

personally I think they pumped up rod stats way too fast which resulted in every subsequent rods becoming more and more of a clone/sidegrade or downgrade to the previous rods
No, they’re making a lot of mid tier rods, and all these rods have 0 PASSIVES besides the Heavenly Rod which basically has NO PASSIVES FOR 2 MILLION. Trident Rod has one of the best passives, Atlantian mutation 3x boost plus the stab ability. Compare that to the new Summit Rod which has 0 passives, all it has is just better stats, BUT IT COST 300 THOUSAND. Trident having the Atlantian mutation multiplier makes it easier to get ROTD, unless you apply abyssal to your Summit rod.

Yes its lowkey bad but if we continue get op rods like rotd so in near future we will get absurd good rod just in case trident was op (150k) after that they made a rotd x5 price of trident but they made a new location so op and heaven rod not even x3 of rotd price so its pretty fair
It's not that fair in my opinion. Cause: It rarelys gives the mutation and the lure speed sucks. I was macroing with haste and maggot for 8 hours. And I caught 1.18k fish. And the one that gets the mutation was ONLY and I mean it ONLY 60 fish from 1.18k fish. And it only gives me 900 after 8 hours which is worse than my no life rod AND rotd. Rotd passive is much more worth it than this.

The problem doesn’t lie with heavens rod but with rotd/rotek imo, it leaves little space for heaven’s rod to be buffed, heaven’s rod stats are comparable to rotek(trade off being less lure for more luck). It’s mutation can barely be buffed because of its amazing base stats, because if you buff the mutation chances, it’ll become a superior version of rotek(which is ridiculous because rotek is a 650 lvl locked rod, measly 2m[yes measly, 2m rod can’t hold a candle to a 650 lvl locked rod] rod should not be better than any level locked rod above 500)
As a player that has been using destiny for about 1 month we have our hate and love problems but yes buff heavens rod bc I was going for abyssal but hasty would be good until it gets buffed

Or they can nerf rotd as a whole, which is much simpler. If they are to buff it in either of the 3 ways you mentioned, they’ll have to massively butt nlr, rotek & rotff, which is a trouble because that’ll also require time and they quite literally promised not to change nlr stats
