  • Step 1: Long press the + and - keys within 3 seconds of powering on the instrument to enter the instrument setup page
    Step 2: Select 08P
    Step 3: Set the hourly speed
    Step 4: Save and exit
    Step 5: Restart the meter
    Note:
    Please don't set the maximum speed more than 45km/h, because the high value will cause the motor to overload and lead to damage. And this situation is not covered by the warranty policy.
    If you are in an area where ebikes are regulated by law and you are not using your ebike on internal roads or private grounds, please do not exceed 25km/h or 15.5Mph when setting the maximum speed.

      This is the page for logging into the meter setup page, which requires you to enter the corresponding four-digit password. If you have never used the setup function, the password is the original password, you can refer to the manual to see if this is described in the manual, or you can contact your dealer directly to get the original password with the order number.

      Hello, although the instrument model is the same, but due to different brands of ebike use different parameter settings, so we can not provide a common parameter setting programme. But setting the maximum speed and speed unit is supportable for you to customise the setting. And our suggestion is that you should not change the settings except these two items, because the wrong parameters will cause the ebike to malfunction.

    I have the same lcd intelligent monitor and I can't get the speed limit set up to 45? It can only go up to 32? Why is that? Is it the tire size?

      Hi, this is related to the factory setting of the meter, it is possible that the protocol that the meter matches with the controller about the maximum speed is limited to 32km/h.
      If your ebike doesn't support too high speed, we suggest you to keep the factory setting, because if the electrical system can't carry 45km/h it may cause overload operation and damage the electrical system, such as controller, motor down.

    Hi,
    I can't change the speed locks, 25 km stays unchanged. How can I increase the speed of the bike?

    • @ceayabikes
      @ceayabikes  4 месяца назад

      Set the 08P page to 45, press "i" key to confirm and save after successful setting, then restart the instrument. But it should be noted that different ebikes may use the same meter, but the premise of switching to a higher speed is that the ebike itself needs to support switching to 45km/h, or else forcing the setting of too high a parameter will lead to the destruction of the controller or motor overload.

      @@ceayabikes Hi thank you for your reply. After entering 08P, it shows me a value of 25km / h and the point is that I can not physically change this value. Pressing + or - nothing changes. Please send me your email, I will send you a video of what it looks like.
      Thank you.

      Hi, although different models of ebike use the same meter, some details may be different as they use different controller matching programmes. Therefore, it is recommended that you contact the seller for support.☺

      @ceayabikes  Год назад

      This should require programming and theoretically would need to come back and edit the controller to meter protocol. We don't work on controllers or meters, so I'm sorry we can't be of more help on this one.
