These stories are always tooo extreme compared to reality. RUclips only allows them fyi because of the revenge aspect and this is why you don’t often see these just being how they are and almost always Pertain to revenge as the end result. By painting this all as a moral-ethic lesson it’s posed as a marketable source of ad revenue if the revenge was not present, and the infidelity was told at face value the ad people wouldn’t pay out so RUclips would make it “lewd” content and remove it (as why you don’t see many of those types of stories on this platform)

These stories are primarily made for incels & black pillers, (think red pillers, but even more delusional & unhinged). Most of them are so simple minded that they think that these are real stories & not the obvious works of fiction that they are. As such, they gobble these tales up ravenously, as it's not only copium for their unhinged views on women & relationships, but also gives them more opportunities to partake in the incel circle jerk of "Oh, you see, it's not me that's the problem, it's all these horrible wamen that are the problem." Given the popularity of these plot points ( wife informing husband she's going to philander for an evening because she deserves it and it's just sex and it doesn't mean anything and it won't affect the family and she'll come back and be a devoted wife and they'll grow old together and so on ) I have to wonder if this is just pro forma like some analog structure out of Kabuki or an opera or something. Or, does it actually reflect any thing that really happens out in the real world.

No, not really. I mean sure, there's possibly been a scenario with some similarities in reality at some point in time, but for pretty much all of these stories, nah fam. They are complete works of fiction. Hell, most of these stories are listed straight from Literotica. Just go under the tag of "loving wives" on that site & you'll see pretty much every single story you've seen one of these videos on listed with a posted date much earlier than the videos on here.
These stories are basically incel revenge porn. & just like porn, there's a nugget of reality, in that in reality, people really do things like have sex & cheat, but also, just like with porn, the context & execution of everything is hyperbolic to such comically absurd extremes, (in service to pandering to it's audience & their fantasies), that it's nowhere near reflective of reality.
I mean, sticking with the porn comparison, many simple minded guys, whom watch a lot of porn think that the kind of sex they are watching is "how the real pros have sex" & that's the best way to pleasure a woman, & a guy with a foot long pringles can of a dick is what women really crave. In reality, most of those pornstars get very little to no pleasure out of what they are doing & often actually find it unpleasant. On the advice or redditors, a little over a year later, he finally decided to divorce her, served her with divorce papers. Then, while he was sleeping, she murdered their kids. We only know this is true because of all the news coverage of Brandi Worley, (ex wife of Jason Worley), when the murders happened. & as this only confirmed real story confirms, Real life doesn't play out anywhere near how it goes in these fantasies & works of fiction.
