ABOUT THE GAME:
Created nearly three decades ago in Japan and now popular in the United States for over 20 years, the little white kitten offers young children practice with early learning skills in Hello Kitty: Cutie World. Featuring one printable artwork activity and seven games, Cutie World uses a simple point-and-click interface with access to all games at any time from every screen, allowing kids to switch games easily. With the exception of the Creative Kitty sticker-decorating activity, games feature three levels each, with some containing generous time limits and others minimum goals, such as a certain number of matches or points.
Kitty Cards, a matching card game, offers a good example of the type of gameplay found in Cutie World. As in similar concentration-style card games, players click on two facedown cards to turn them over and try to remember where the matching cards are located. The three skill levels require matching four cards in two minutes, six cards in a minute and forty seconds, and 12 cards in an minute and a half.
The other games include Candy Tiles (Kitty-style Mahjong), Sweet Tooth (matching sweet treats), A Sleepy Song (catch falling musical snowflakes to create a lullaby), O'Starry Night (catch falling stars and draw a picture), Penguin Catch (catch sliding penguins), and Balloon Ride (capture butterflies from the sky while avoiding bees). The three levels in each game are progressively more difficult and require achievement of minimum goals to advance.
