UniSwap was a blessing in disguise. I used it once. At first I couldn't figure out how to view the Uni tokens in my wallet and just went to bed frustrated. Woke up and Uni was over $5 😲 I sold. Yeah it might moon but I'm happy to increase my cash position.
I've increased my savings for nearly a year now and after hearing Saylor's point on the likely movement away from fiat through the early part of next year I'm even more motivated to do the same. At some point there's having too much money in the bank. Hedging.

Torontos housing market is on fire and i dont think it will slow down anytime soon. The Golden horsehoe is fastest growing region in all of north america. Mind you covid has temporarily slowed it down.

I have felt like increasing my Bitcoin bag for a few weeks and this is probably driven by news such as Microstrategy buying up big chunks and a fear that it might only be available at a much higher price before long. Trouble is I am trying to stay above my self imposed minimum level of cash in reserve (rainy days happen). Will be able to buy some more after my next pension installment in about a week's time. Recently I swapped some ETH I had on hand for BTC. First heard of UNI being listed today and wished I had some ETH in Metamask to cover buying some UNI. Was watching Nuggets News and the live chat replay was abuzz with the 400 UNI airdrop news, so I halted the video and first sent some more ETH from Coinbase to Metamask to cover the fees, then claimed my 400 UNI (worth $1444 at the time) from Uniswap. I had already seen on the chat replay that many were selling the UNI, and I am aware that altcoins are bleeding out (and that continued today) so was thinking a lot of UNI are being airdropped, many are selling them, so was not confident the price would go up and with the altcoins on a rout decided to sell some. I kept 50 and swapped 350 for ETH which I then sent to Coinbase and swapped for BTC. Which means the price of UNI will probably go up 10X tomorrow, but then I still have 50. I think it is really nice of Uniswap to do the airdrop, probably a good competitive move to stop people like Sushiswap stealing their liquidity.
Hi Rob this is the main reason cro is down. Not to do with defi swap not doing well. Twice a month people put there cro into syndicate to get the coin such as MKR this week is 50% off so lots of cro is removed from market...then after event is done then the cro that wasnt used to buy MKR is back in the market. I assume this is the reason cro flucuates during the syndicate sales.. I may be wrong but makes sense.
