Mount Lemmon Trail Cameras - First Update of 2024

Starting off well to bring in 2024. This video recaps the entire month of January captured from the 7 trail cameras I currently have located around Tucson, Arizona. 5 cameras on Mount Lemmon and 2 cameras on the East Side of Tucson. With all the recent rain and snow we have been receiving in the area my normal “hot spots” have been showing a little less activity due to the great amount of water now flowing through the canyons. The animals have so much water to draw from that it seems they don’t have to stop in on those waterholes as frequent as before. Regardless of the activity I am just happy our mountain is thriving right now.
In this video you will see white-tail deer, gray fox, javelinas, skunk, bobcat, coatimundi, our state mammal the ringtail cat and 2 different mountain lions. Some bird sightings also made it this time; a female cardinal, gambles quail and what I believe is a great horn owl.
