I just tried this method, this means change the default and display language by entering my desired 4 digit language code by registry editor in administrator mode (original language is 0409 English, my desired language is 0407 German). After this registry change my PC needs for restart/-boot longer than usual. After restart/-boot Windows still greets in English saying "Welcome", this means original English language is still active and registry editor says: Default: My desired 4 digit language code (my change is accepted/set) Display: Original 4 digit language code (my change made by registry editor has obviously not been accepted while closing or was overwritten to original value while restarting/-booting) On my PC, brand new bought/set-up on 30. Hi Dmitry. It has not worked for me on Windows 11 Home Chinese only. Even editing all 3 files, after restarting it rool backs the InstallLanguage register to original 0804 instead of 0416 (PT-BR, desired). I literally spent the entire day attempting to figure out how to switch the goddamn language, but none of the tutorials were helpful. I also tried this, but it didn't work either. And please consider what I have to say for those who have the same challenges. Don't just change the default and install language after opening the registry editor and performing all of those other actions. Change every setting you have, then type those four digits. You ought should be OK after that.❤️

it doesnt work. When I restart my computer after all steps you've showed it doesnt work. The Registry Editor hasnt changed (its same before changes)

Then you need to push the control and F3 buttons simultaneously.
F3 button isnt necessary, just go to link and choose a 4 digit code and change it (F3 is also dont work by me)
You need to push fn bottom with f3 same time

The install language part is not changing, it's maintaining the same code
Notice that in this case you have an InstallLanguageFallback that you have to change to the value in the Language tag column
