That's because TMI had a containment vessel and no one died. Will be the same for every nuclear accident with containment vessels.

Although on the surface it seems like nothing has been done. Since chernobyl and TMI plant construction projects have been cancelled worldwide as a result of the damage they caused. Even though the officials say one thing, the people can feel the truth in their gut and based off their observations. Why would Germany close every plant if it was so safe?

@obsolete opinions No one died from Fukushima either. It's narratives like yours that keeps people ignorant.
