I play her in a flanky style that works really well, i get like 40-50 eliminations with only like 5 deaths. She isnt a point tank, she gets busted down so quick on the point. But she is great at flanking and annoying the enemy backline so the enemy team all focuses you, so your team gets a free cap for the point

I really like the concept of Yago but _hate_ her ultimate. No character with that much health needs anything _close_ to an instakill ult. She can jump on top of any opponent and kill them before any comp could burst her down. And if they insist on having the ult work like it does, it should _under no circumstances refund ANY of it_ . You missed the ult? You're on 0%. You pull was broken? 0%. They're already way too nice when it comes to ult refunding in the game, champs like Zhin and Khan really don't need it, but Yago is really taking the piss.
Agree her ult is insane, as a point tank you never feel secure with she is in the point unless when she ults other, she shouldnt have a new hp bar for the ult thats WAY TOO safe for her, it stresfull as tank having to go to point when you know she has ult, execution ults ruin the fun
She's the wrecking ball of this game, and just like in overwatch, these characters create meta problems because depending on how they're balanced they can either be a must pick champion or the worst available choice
Ball has way higher skill floor, way higher mobility and is countered by CC rather than any specific heroes. Yagorath is just clunky and fat, and since BK, Cassie, Tyra are fairly common, they can render her practically useless.
For me, Yagorath brought some fresh air in this game, i like it more than before because of longer point fights and more viable strategies. I would probably nerf her DR like 33% and her ultimate. At least make me instant reload when i'm getting ulted by her.
Wish they would've just put her in her own raid boss/evolve type of game mode. Maybe make her more beefy, give her more movement, and fight her like the reveal trailer. Not a fan of her in the game otherwise. But will always love Paladins.
Yagorath reminds me of the time when Raum first came out. He was an immortal raid boss with the 75% DR talent and the DR cards before the nerfs. Even with the whole team shooting him he wouldn't die. Hope highrez notices the addition of another raid boss and nerf some of Yago's DR

@@mirius4665 I don't think she can thrive in present paladins frankly..her counters are too effective, too numerous, she has terrible range, and her cards are..odd..some really good..others not..believe me I've put some hours into yag already..nothing I tried helped against her weak spots..and even then she struggles against any decent dps even if it's not one of her hard counters

Being that I've leveled her to 50 and have a good understanding of her playstyle, abilities and cards. I think I can safely say she is balanced. It's just the fact that there are too strong of counters that make her feel underpowered or underwhelming, to the point of sucking all of the fun out of playing her. Much like Raum. All of his counters are the same as Yagorath's with the exception of most CC based counters.
Same got her to 50 as well and she’s one of the funniest champions to play but gets hard countered, especially by Tyra burn monster I think shes better of point unless you get a furia heal beam.
Kami, you get it that the players are the problem here, right? Standing there ain't really the best way to play it. I love tanks, and I've play supporting some good flankers with her shield talent, wich keeps working after changing stance, and it was quite ok. She is quite different from what people are used to, but we can't take new players as evidence.
I don't think players are the problem here. This character feels a lot like Bastion in Overwatch: build a team around them and they're busted and difficult to play against, otherwise they're just bad. It's bad character design imho.
@@Goldy01 it's a team based game. We aren't expected to play solo. On my experience, no one was playing around me, I was playing with randoms. I was giving the support, it was me playing around them most of the time. People are so individuals that it seems awkward when they have to support someone, but there is room for this playstyle.

Since you can run easily behind a cover to escape her, i think she should have reliable damage to get the most out of it. Whats her dps when using both rmb and lmb?

Also, you can update your 13:05 with Kinessa's Eagle Eye. Even with Yago's DR, Kin deals 1260 per headshots. Which means Kinessa can, in theory, solo kill Yagorath with just one clip (6 bullets x 1260 damage = 7560).
Yago needs blast shields 2 and has to harden in the tyra Q to survive it because she cant get out fast enough so BM is stronger against Yago but BG Cassie is overall more viable as a champ.
I dont agree with what was said at the end. That she should be nerfed into the ground because if no one counters her shes overpowered. Because the same can be said for alot of champions. Raum is overpowered if not countered, dredge is overpowered if not countered, drogoz is overpowered if not countered, androxus is overpowered if not, actually nvm androxus is just overpowered, etc. With casual its always blind pick, if the enemy picked raum and your team doesnt have hard cc then ur gonna have a hard time. Just the way it is, in ranked drafting is a thing so its about picks and counter picks. You are going to pick drogoz into a lian, androxus, atlas, jenos and shalin are you? You gotta pick something else to make it work and thats the way ranked is.

ngl yag needs a lot of buffs. Her ammo is low, her alt fire does pretty much 0 damage. Her DR ability needs a faster charge time for that 1.1k burst and her acceleration needs a lower CD
Yagorath's "Unnatural Persistence" talent (the 3rd one) has a 64% win rate. Combining that with the fact that she's really clunky to play and that half her cards are nearly useless, it makes Yag really painful to play with or against. Evil Mojo has their hands full with this one.
Finally, wish you would've done it earlier when I couldn't play the game bc I play on switch. But hear me out, yag, but can burst move like damba every x seconds. But yeah now that I can play, she sucks. Ruins casuals
playing tank against her is just plain awful. her ult charges way too fast and if you have to contest point you can count on being insta killed by it pretty much every point fight
very rough with barik lol.. you have to put shield up in front of her..and shoot her in the mouth ..its the only way you can even come close to knocking down 1/4 of her health.. besides that its 300 or less damage you do on her per shot..

Empowering flanks throughout the years. Maeve's execution talent which is considered her worst) and Vora's one, which is much more bigger %, is fine to people? I've been executed on 1v1 against Vora with 65% HP as Atlas, and that's perfectly acceptable? What happened to flank's sneaky and careful play? Ending dps burst meta, just to be able to play flank burst meta now. Jenos Lumi got nerfed for extra 5%, Nessa talent was nerfed as well. Why game team empowering flanks so much? BK bombs are still bugged, which can ruin the whole game. Btw Kami, this wasn't meant to be rank against you haha, I don't play Paladins anymore, but still follow patch notes if somehow a miracle shows up and changes the game onto better.
It needs changes, I can't stand playing a match with it. Constantly pouring dmg into it only for it to barely do anything especially when I'm the only one trying to take it out
I don't know about PC but console players found out that if you pick her + 4 healers, it's an easy W as long as you capture and push it fast so there is no caut 3 :(

It is like they took all of their ideas for an interesting champion and put them in one. I mean, she reveals, she doesnt have a mount, she is tall af, tons of dr, she cant move, etc. Why put all these interesting features in a signle champion? It damages the balance they built in the previous season by buffing talents that counter the worm to the point they are nearly op. But, why? To be fair tho, it is kinda fun to burn the shit out of her with burn monster etc ,but becomes boring after a while. Reminds me of Briggite somehow balance-wise.
I hate how she's changed the game. It's isn't fun to play when she's in the game. I think hirez has no idea what they're doing but I have to say that if it was intentional, there is a certain genius to yagorath in the sense that she makes literally every character in the game a viable pick when going against her. So as much as I hate her, I think that's her greatest strength and contribution to the game.

ngl yag needs a lot of buffs. Her ammo is low, her alt fire does pretty much 0 damage. Her DR ability needs a faster charge time for that 1.1k burst and her acceleration needs a lower CD

Yagorath's "Unnatural Persistence" talent (the 3rd one) has a 64% win rate. Combining that with the fact that she's really clunky to play and that half her cards are nearly useless, it makes Yag really painful to play with or against. Evil Mojo has their hands full with this one.
Nerf planted dr and make her F faster to swap and take its cooldown off. That way shes not as tanky but not as counterable

playing tank against her is just plain awful. her ult charges way too fast and if you have to contest point you can count on being insta killed by it pretty much every point fight
Best counter is Tyra with burn monster.
very rough with barik lol.. you have to put shield up in front of her..and shoot her in the mouth ..its the only way you can even come close to knocking down 1/4 of her health.. besides that its 300 or less damage you do on her per shot..

Trust me kami, you don't need a counter to yag..ive melted her as lex -_- she's not a strong character in her current state..but even though her counters srnt necessary to beat her, she has so many that it hardly matters..she does however really show off how busted certain damage chsmpions are that they can still kill her with such ease

I see people complaining about Yago's execution Ult a lot. But I guess it's wrong since executions should only be made by flanks nowadays, right? Because you aren't playing carefully enough, right? Empowering flanks throughout the years. Maeve's execution talent which is considered her worst) and Vora's one, which is much more bigger %, is fine to people? I've been executed on 1v1 against Vora with 65% HP as Atlas, and that's perfectly acceptable? What happened to flank's sneaky and careful play? Ending dps burst meta, just to be able to play flank burst meta now. Jenos Lumi got nerfed for extra 5%, Nessa talent was nerfed as well. Why game team empowering flanks so much? BK bombs are still bugged, which can ruin the whole game. Btw Kami, this wasn't meant to be rank against you haha, I don't play Paladins anymore, but still follow patch notes if somehow a miracle shows up and changes the game onto better.

It is like they took all of their ideas for an interesting champion and put them in one. I mean, she reveals, she doesnt have a mount, she is tall af, tons of dr, she cant move, etc. Why put all these interesting features in a signle champion? It damages the balance they built in the previous season by buffing talents that counter the worm to the point they are nearly op. But, why? To be fair tho, it is kinda fun to burn the shit out of her with burn monster etc ,but becomes boring after a while. Reminds me of Briggite somehow balance-wise.

I hate how she's changed the game. It's isn't fun to play when she's in the game. I think hirez has no idea what they're doing but I have to say that if it was intentional, there is a certain genius to yagorath in the sense that she makes literally every character in the game a viable pick when going against her. So as much as I hate her, I think that's her greatest strength and contribution to the game.

I strongly disagree with Kami's view on Yago, she can still lose to teams without hard counters easily
Also who the hell plays Yago that stationary, like seriously, if you're up against two hard counters like Cassie and dredge, you need to play hyper mobile and push into them with your flank
so you think it's fine that it can get behind you quickly and plant itself where you have to either focus on killing it (and that takes forever) or focus on other enemies in front of you/ around you?
