Not real familiar with that part of the Cumberland. I’ve only been down around Cumberland City to catch skipjack. Would like to fish the area for cats though.
Yes sir you can catch your limit in skips everyday there. we got on some fish around the barge cells and its one huge log jam across the river but my arms are not as big as popeyes to throw that far. Hopefully i can get a boat the first of the year. keep on fishing and making videos sir and ill stay tuned in.
i fish the barkley dam/cumberland river in lake city and im yet to get on some fish on the lower part of the dam but i do ok on the upper side. you got any tips for catching sum blues and flatheads on the lower part of the dam? Thanks
Did you have to order the bases that actually go on the Cat Rack from your SeaArk dealer? I can't find them anywhere online and I actually don't even see them on SeaArk's website either...
Never mind... just figured it out with a little more digging: They're called the "square bracket for rod holders" on SeaArk's website... the confusion came because they didn't show them on the CatRack, but on a side rail.
Really nice system Terry. I also use Monster Rod Holders but my rack is homemade...
Cool Ill be getting my Monster rod holders in February
You’re gonna love them!
Nice boat nice review. On another note where is some good holes around cumberland city steam plant if your familiar?

I catch most of my cats downstream of the I-24 bridge. Some decent holes down that way.

How'd you mount the center base holder for your dip net? I noticed it's a different base and system than the ones for the Monster rod holders...
It came with a 4 hole mounting base. I just used 4 self tapping screws to screw the base down to the top of the rack.
How much does a Cat Rack cost? Can't find it online ANYWHERE!!!
I believe they’re close to $500 new but you can find them used for around $250.
Is it easy to remove and reinstall?
Very easy. Remove 4 nuts/bolts and it all comes off in one piece.
@@HookedOnCats ok. I was looking at the monster rod rack but don’t really feel like drilling holes in the boat.
Do the monster rod holders come with the cat rack or are they sold separately?
Derek, unfortunately they are sold separately. They are some outstanding rod holders though, the only ones I’ll use.
Totally agree, I have four of them. I just don't have those bases.
that boat is a catfish tank. i have a nice setup too, but looks like a baby compared to yours.
Thanks! Love my boat.
