New v1.8 Guide is uploaded here: ruclips.net/video/dSylayb7iVA/видео.htmlsi=gN9J_l0NMC9Jd1pM Hello! It appears that they have finally updated the mod with the new V1 manifests! To install the SEAF Specialists mod now, do the following: 0. Ensure you are running HD2MM v1.2.0.1 1. Download the SEAF Specialists mod (in this example, let's download the first (0) pack -- everything in one). 2. Open HD2MM v1.2.0.1. 3. Click "ADD" on the top left. Select the downloaded .zip folder (i.e.: (0) SEAF Specialists AIO-####.zip) 4. You should now see "SEAF Specialists AIO" (All-in-One). 5. Click "EDIT". 6. Select what you want installed or not installed. There's no pictures. 7. When done, click OK. 8. To deploy the mods, click DEPLOY. Done!
Thanks for the guide, nice and straightforward. I moved my storage & temp folders and was having an issue with my mods not appearing in the manager, until I added a "Mods" folder inside of Storage. Then throwing the mods into "Mods" fixed it.
Hey i placed the mods the same way into the mod storage folder like you did, but they dont appear in my mod manager. Do you know why would that happen? Edit: I got it fixed, for some reason in the files itself the old version was still there so it couldnt replace it.
@ When I launched the hood manager the directories were different then what they were supposed to be, I changed them to what you had then to and it still didn’t work. And yeah I was missing the json file.
@@ChristopherSheedy-x5r You don't have to change the Storage or the Temp folders, I have them changed because I prefer it that way as I have multiple installations of the mod manager. I highly recommend you look into reinstalling your mod manager properly, follow the mod manager written guide, it's available in the description of this video, or on the #FAQ in the modding discord. After that, redownload the full modpack, use 7zip to extract the files correctly and ensure the manifest.json files have been extracted to their appropriate folders. Remember that you not only need to extract the download folder for the mod pack, but each and every .zip that was downloaded. Only 7zip can extract them all in sequence, they will not do this using Windows. Windows will require you to do them one at a time Also if you do not wish to extract the folders individually, you can instead just "ADD" the zips one at a time into the Mod Manager as an alternative method. Again all of this is covered in the mod manager written guide. Please consult that in order to get setup correctly.
@@Akabane101 Retrying the tutorial, did exactly what the written guide said minus the individual mod part and still no Storage.json (fixed it, I actually tried looking for the folder. Can't believe I didn't try that.)
The cape hiding is actually part of a different mod! You have two choices, I'll provide both: Option 1: Reshade, you can use the Unofficial Photo Mod Mode which will install reshade for you, and give you hotkeys to not only just disable the cape, but other hud elements as well. This is what I primarily use! You can find that here: www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/593 Option 2: If you don't want resahde, then an alternative is to simply make the Liberty Herald cape invisible. This mod is installed like regular patch file mods, either through the mod manager, or manually. Once installed, the Liberty Herald cape is invisible in-game, no reshade required! However you can't toggle it on and off quite as easily. You can find that here: www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/91 I hope this helps! Happy modding :D
Two methods: Method 1: Disable Mods If you want to uninstall them but keep them for later use, you simply click "Purge" or "Hard Purge", and then deselect them from the list if you wish to not install them the next time you click DEPLOY. Method 2: Delete If you want to fully remove them from your disk, click PURGE or HARD PURGE, then click the trash can next to each one you want to uninstall. :)
@@Hans_SS yup just install the mod open the Mod manager click on Add and find the mod folder like in your downloads and click on it and add it and the mod manager will do it for you
@@Akabane101 I shouldve been nicer about letting you know i was just malding at how long i kept trying to do this process not knowing the update for it came out lmfao

Great intuition! That's exactly how you fix that. I'm glad the video was able to help as well. Happy modding! :)

Mods wont show up in the mod manager app, followed the steps like you did but my directories were missing .json files and they were routed weirdly.
Were they missing the .json files when you extracted the folders? Can you explain what you mean by "Routed Differently"?

Is there any way to change the armor/helmet type that each file replaces? Such as changing one to be the b-01 tactical?
Unfortunately no, as the mods specifically replace those models and are built with their properties.
Replace the throwing knife as Hammer 😂
I will keep this one in my load order at all times from now own, brilliant! 🤣
My cape is still visible. Does anyone know how I can fix this, whether I have to check the file or not? What would the file be under?
