As an American I grew up on NFL football and still love it, but after watching only a few games of AFL I was hooked. Best sport in the world bar none. I even play on a club team here in jacksonville, now. Wish more around the world played and understood the sport.
As an American nothing is better than the American Eagle... So West Coast Eagles would be a great fit for you. Though as a World power, you might find that Port Adelaide Power appeal. Or being Florida the Gold Coast Suns. Or Melbourne have the American "Grand old flag" as their anthem. Hawks have "yankee doodle dandy" as their theme song, but then again you mightn't be a yankee. Conclusion: you can't go wrong with the Eagles. While they'll slide for a year or so, they'll be back within a few years. Nothing is more certain.

Apparently the NHL is coming to Melbourne to play some preseason games for the 2023/24 season later this year with the Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings most likely going to be the teams to come here

Nice Vid! I can definitely understand all your reasoning behind each different sport, and it's good that you weren't biased. AFL is definitely the most entertaining. For Americans and other countries it's on at 5am in the morning so it's hard for them to get around it. Footy, cricket and basketball are my 3 favourites

Gotta say totally agree with your AFL statement. The amount of skill, tactics and the huge crowds just really make this game so so good. If the world actually took some Time to appreciate how good this game is, I reckon it could potentially overtake Soccer (or football) globally. The rest of the world just needs to give us a chance!

I get frustrated playing basketball and never completely been into it, but I appreciate it for what it is. The 1-2 NBL games I've been to have had some of the best atmosphere so imagine an NBA game would be unreal to see live.

My problem with baseball is that I reckon there are too many fielders. So it makes the game a bit one dimensional. You either strike out, walk a base, get run out before first base, or do a home run. Its a bit too predictable. I'd like it more if you could hit it into the outfield and actually get to first base sometimes without getting run out.

I love baseball it's just unfortunate the baseball ownership is doing a bad job to make it more popular
