you hit the "jackpot" with this farm. the house is in real good shape, like it hasn't been abandoned long. the barns weren't in too bad of shape either.
I see what looks like new houses in the background. It's a shame that farmland gets bought out by development companies just to build big ass houses that attract shitty people into what used to be modest farm communities. The farm I grew up on was destroyed for a neighborhood so it pains me to see this.
I had a friend who ran across an old farm house she check with the county tax roll office to see who owned it and what the taxes were a year, struck a great deal with the home owner if she paid the yearly taxes she could live there! By her being there it helps them both out..Could be an idea if you know someone in real need of housing..
Wow this place is amazing! that house is in such great shape! the metal sink cabinets were like new! that message on that dry erase board was kinda sad. sounds like they were very fond of the place.

The concrete shed was probably where they hung the cows when slaughtered. The concrete kept the meat cold.
