- An easy install of the Memphis shades hand guards on BlackBird, my 2020 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Standard. Quick and simple install preparing for our road trip to Daytona in a few days. Hand guards protect against road debris , pebbles and wind protection in cold weather.

I love these and I think it makes your bike look even better with your black paint. 💯🤙
I run them on my RK in the winter and take them off when it warms up. They do help my hands a lot

Finally a video on this where you actually can see the install of the hardware to the reflector and how the mirror tension holds it on as well. I've watched atleast 6 videos in this install and they don't show an up close install of hardware . Thankyou for the video. I have an '18 RGS but those look really good on the bat wing as well!! Pumped to get these installed!!

I Like the Look Sandy, I’m ordering them for my 21 Street Glide in Snake Venom which is Black out. I have 12” Apes on my bike. I was on the edge but now I’m sold after I watched you do the install and how it looks!

Sandy before you tighten them down try putting on the balkiest gloves you got To make sure you have enough room to slide your hand and between the lever and the guard

Didn't a guy you ride with just do this video too? I could have sworn I watched this video last week! Handguards look nice...just don't think it fits your build. But who am I to say what looks nice on your bike! Great video!
Not my style those hand covers. My wife loves them on her Heritage though. I have a 21 SG and I put 10 inch bars on them and the fairing completely covers my hands, cheers Sandy, 😎😎😎
I used 2 antifreeze jugs lined them with bubble wrap then covered it with some nifty all weather cloth that a windstorm delivered to my back yard ...people ask me how much do they cost where to get them ....lol
The fabric comes up on my coat sleeves and keeps 100% of the wind out warm in .

I get the functionality. But I'm not a fan of the look myself. Safe ride to Virginia brother looking forward to the videos.

How cold is it at winter at your place ? If it’s at freezing- and you ride , then you officially deserve the “ man title “ 👍🏻 😆 LOL 👍🏻
Why not add heated handgrips? You should add some nice grips anyway since you're still using the stock rubber grips.

I think i would have mounted it as far away from the end of the edge of brake/clutch lever...
I can easily change it. I was looking at the aerodynamics of it - and it made sense to put it like I did- less drag….

Sandy, another banger video. Short sweet and to the point. I agree with your purpose and the outcome is perfect I did it on my bike. Before I did it I did not like them and I didn’t think they were a value (80). My kid who rides thinks they look bad ass and I’ve come to appreciate them for functional and looks. 💪🏻👍🤟🇺🇸
I think they look amazingly chic! Ha. No they are a great match to your batwing and more importantly they offer good protection.

Typical Memphis Shade half arse design. No attempt at all to cleverly mount it, weld braket to guard? Nah we'll just bolt it on and put some crappy bungs over the bolts. Proper ones would be attached at both ends to stop rotation. In a crash or if you clip a wing mirror these will just rotate or even collapse crushing your fingers behind the levers. These are for looks / wind protection only.
