Your content is like a breath of fresh air in the dev community. Usually, everyone is so headstrong about the best tools, the best IDE, the best jobs, and how to beat interviews. But this? This just focuses on what coding is about. Creating. Creating things that people use and enjoy, as we enjoy making it. Can't wait to see more of your videos!
For me it 1-0 month for a video, bro. Suprises are everywhere, if you know where to look, and where to not look. Think about it. instagram & hashing tag functions are everywehre.
I’ve been terrified to put my head down and get into development for the past 4 years now. You’re the first person out of countless interactions with friends and developers online to have inspired me to actually start. Your content is concise, informative, and screams encouragement, and for that I can’t thank you enough. I’m starting small with the link page, then plan on creating a digital design portfolio, and finally hope to build an app with swift that I’ll launch on the App Store!
One tip to not loose your interest in programming. For the beginning; stay at one language or at least stick to one topic. Like web developement, app developer, game developer
I wouldn't really recommend going with Web dev then hoping to do IOS dev by launching an app you wouldn't be market ready if it's a hobby that's great but if it's for work no As @pirax stated stick to one thing and hammer it down
I been getting into web development and I started going to the full stack route where I’m learning Spring and using my minimal knowledge on HTML, CSS and JS for the frontend. This video helped realize that I should get more familiar with HTML and CSS since my foundation is pretty strong in backend languages.
That's awesome I wish I started with backend first, but I didn't even know the difference between a markup language and programming language at the time. If you continue learning HTML & CSS I would recommend checking out, flex box, css grid, keyframes, relative units, and pseudo-classes.
yes, you can. But it requires a lot of resources to create whatever you want. So, you need many many personal power to"work on" yourself everyday. And this is exhausting for long period. I feel myself too lazy, because I am tired of all of it. After several years in development you often no motivation to create anything for your personal needs. Much simpler to pay $5-15 for similar decision (like using Notion for keeping knowledge) and do not torment self.
Your content was already great, with that said, these follow along videos (this, the nvim setup, macbook setup) are really, really helpful. It’s a niche that hasn’t been done as well as you’re doing it
AMAZING! I watched this from start to finish. As someone who is currently learning programming in school it was great seeing how you implement your knowledge and what I can take from this video and use in the future for my projects as well. You are amazing!
Even though I know what you are doing, by watching your videos helps me stop procrastinating. I really like your video, the sound of the keyboard, the ambience in the background, the look of neovim or vim, your video editing. Everything is so perfectly edited. Thank you so much! Please upload more often.
i'm so grateful for this video. i watched it and started messing around about a month ago, while i was on vacation. now that my classes are back, and we started studying web development, our teacher told us to mess around with html and css and do something for our next class. i worked on this yesterday and today, made some changes, and loved the end product. thank you :)
I can't believe I watched 32 minutes of someone typing on front of a shore without dying of anxiety because of the sea air on the laptop, congratulations Takuya
More content to come 💓 i love this kind content that you don't need any framework or library, i know there are many of us that newbie here on your channel, that can't use yet any kind of framework, we appreciate this kind of content
The moment I enjoyed most was when you started debugging and fixing the errors from vanta library 23:10 Thanks for making such great content ありがとうございます
Thank you for that amazing content. OffTopic: My deepest sympathy for the loss your people are suffering actually. R.I.P. Shinzo Abe 🥺😭🕯 Regards from germany!
This is so good, as usual an amazing job. Been using flex boxes for ages and I didn't know about that "gap" attribute. That could have spared me so much trouble before ahaha. Great job, keep it coming ❤
border-radius: 100% doesn't have any side effects compared to 50%, and imho sounds are pretty annoying especially if it is not obvious to have a stop/mute button which may mess up with the design.
Amazing vid Takuya! I need to get into coding website asap! Do you recommend to start without or with frameworks? :) Also where you get inspiration for styling your websites?
Anyone of them bro, if u already know a language then probably stick with that one, if u don’t know a language start with python or JavaScript most likely.
I’ve taken classes that use Java and C++ - both languages have the ability to create classes, which makes learning data structures really easy. Pretty much any language can be used to learn algorithms, just make sure you understand the concepts like Big O Notation, which is the time complexity of functions - you will learn that when taking algorithms courses.
I hope your back doesn't hurt in this position😄 Thank you for this great content as always ! Sidenote: Your videos gave me inspiration to start using neovim on a daily basis. Thanks a lot ! I also wonder, how fast do you type ? 😅 150 WPM ?
I just began my programming journey a couple weeks ago and I’m getting comfortable with CSS but JavaScript still scares me. This video couldn’t have come at a better time! I thoroughly watched your channel and it inspired me but also intimidated me because of your amazing workflow. This new video however is exactly at my level and I can follow along and learn so much! I will probably watch this 10 times and create my own projects with what I learn! Thank you!!

Bro I am so suprised to see your video suddenly because It was UNEXPECTED! You usually take 1-2 months for a video. Thank you Sir for teaching us.

hey I'm curious on how it's going for you, did you succeed to achieve your goals ?
Your React Native series has helped me write a bit more cleaner code since I first started learning the framework, thank you...

i was exhausted by coding but your video gave me boost again, as a coder i believe we can build what ever we want by coding. Love your content. ♥️❤️

the way you record it and the locations you choose to code both are amazing.

best programming youtuber
Please create some more "For Beginners" tutorials out of your busy schedule. You are very inspiring and that would mean a lot to us
The wave sound was sooooo satisfying haha
border-radius: 50% is enough
and flex is byt default in row direction
and i think if you add a background sound of birds it will be good
border-radius: 100% doesn't have any side effects compared to 50%, and imho sounds are pretty annoying especially if it is not obvious to have a stop/mute button which may mess up with the design.
Thank you Takuya, this is amazing 👍
This was a fun little project to build and customize… thanks! Lovely vibe as well

Amazing vid Takuya! I need to get into coding website asap! Do you recommend to start without or with frameworks? :) Also where you get inspiration for styling your websites?
without. Dribbble is one of my favorites
Thanks! I’ll check it out.
Which language would you suggest to learn data structures and algorithms? Java? Python? C? Golang?
Anyone of them bro, if u already know a language then probably stick with that one, if u don’t know a language start with python or JavaScript most likely.

Any are fine, but if you're a beginner use python as you can focus on what you want to learn instead of battling syntax
python
your videos are just stunning and beautiful
I hope your back doesn't hurt in this position😄
Thank you for this great content as always !
