Not a single scratch on Inoue's face. Please no sore loser comments about Inoue, he won fair and square, he was just the better man tonight. Give Inoue his flowers and respect to Marlon.

Even though he fought for 10 rounds, I was surprised to see that Inoue's face after the match was the same as before.
On the other hand, Tapales' face is in tatters. (>_

The shocking reason why Naoya Inoue took so long to KO has been revealed...
Tapares' weight on the day was super lightweight.
On the day of the match, Inoue weighed in at 61.2.3 kg, which was 6 kg back from the 55.2 kg he weighed in the day before, while Tapares gained over 8 kg from 55.0 kg. Easily over 63kg. The limit for super lightweight was 63.5 kg.
In professional boxing, as long as you pass the weigh-in at 1pm the day before the match, you are free to recover by hydrating and eating before the match the next day, and there is no problem even if you gain weight.
After the match, Inoue's face remained unharmed.
Tapares' face is covered in scars
Inoue, with a KO rate of 90%, is better than Crawford.
    Number one in pound-for-pound

I give Tapales credit for lasting long even if he increased weight significantly. I just thought Tapales had a strong chin but i think one of the main reason why the knockout took that long was due Inoue wanting to show to Tapales and the world that he's the bigger hitter and you could see in Inoue eyes, that he wanted to go for a "knockout" instead of a "TKO".

They were moving Anaguchi around too much after the fight.
Once they saw he couldn't stand, they should have laid him down & called for a stretcher.
The trainers had no idea how to handle this situation - & where were the ringside doctors?
They could have saved Anaguchi if they took more careful measures.
They shouldn't have walked Anaguchi out of the ring when it became obvious he had no equilibrium.

Tapales punches had no effect on The Monster. Tapales’s shoulder roll and guard had no defense, Inoue would punch right through his guard and throw a right hook around Tapales shoulder roll right to his face. It was a shut out but jamal gave Tapales a charity round. Inoue’s fighting style, training, and conditioning comes from his father Shingo Inoue the best coach and trainer in the world today in any weight class. The Monster say’s I listen to my father.

Here’s a younger tougher tepales and inoue made it look easy. I don’t see TJ beating Inoue tomorrow. Unless Naoya is so off on his game and gets caught but I don’t think he’ll make the same mistake like he did with Nery.

Did anyone notice that Tapales had no legs in the 2nd knockdown, which resulted in the KO? The two hits to the head reminds me of George Foreman's KO of Myers, the first big punch stunned, and the 2nd big finished.
I think it is time to bring Manny PacMan into the picture to advance his weight class, coz I don't think Inoue's father can handle the heavier divisions.
