    Just bought one based on your review from Amazon and it is fantastic and the adapter will save me a lot of money on gas when camping when lockdown is over. Brilliant bit of kit!! Thanks.

      Me too just bought it and the adapter and wind deflected builtin are a excellent plus, including the low weight of the stove.

    Just visited the link you gave. I thought I reorganised this stove. It's also branded as Terra Hiker when not with the wind protector. On the Odoland the wind protector feature now has half a dozen holes drilled into it! Back to Odoland, they also sell / brand a portable camping kit/stove doing the rounds on youtube and amazon.

    A word of caution: this stove, msr stoves and all other isobutane stoves are built around isobutane fuel. If you use the propane adapter and use propane as fuel, it WILL eventually blow out the seals and cause fuel leaks. Propane has 4x the vapor pressure of isobutane. The stove seals are not designed for that amount of pressure. Just because you can, doesnt mean you should. If you want your backing stoves to last, DO NOT use propane

      @@anonymous4201 yes I’d say so. I have used mine to boil potatoes for my family of 6 comfortably. Just have to be sure it’s on the flattest ground possible if you’re at a table. I used a tree stump

    Am considering one of these, but what's it's the lowest simmer like? For cooking food without burning it and not just boiling water. How fuel-hungry is it? Did you/can you weigh a new gas canister before and after boiling water at a good burn. Have also been considering the Alpkit Koro - I know it's a higher price point at £48.

    Theyre cheaper but last two minutes .. pack a fat one they last 2 weeks . Theyre the best types of stove really stable and more controll over the heat ..not welding food to the pan like a jet cooker does . And the new msr .. forget them buy these stoves . More pan choices than jet boils one pot does all .. no fry ups for the jet boil fans

    Would a Bialetti Mokka Express with a diameter of 7 cm (2.75 inch) fit on this burner ? In other words what is the inner diameter of the pot stands ?

    • @cjswildernessadventures2946
      @cjswildernessadventures2946  3 года назад +1

      Without the adapter you can use any of the brands that use a threaded top on the canister.
      Camping gaz, Coleman and most of the other brands will always do a variety of canisters to fit different appliances, just double check before you buy. You can also buy the adapter separate on eBay/ amazon for quite cheap.

    Why is this so cheap though?? 🤔 almost makes me think it’s not as reliable because of its affordable price... compared to like a Pocket Rocket 1, Pocket Rocket 2 and Pocket Rocket Deluxe it’s much cheaper... why is that? And how do the Pocket Rockets compare to this one in your unbiased opinion?

    • @cjswildernessadventures2946
      @cjswildernessadventures2946  3 года назад +1

      I couldn’t really say. I’ve used this stove about 7-8 times now and it’s still holding up as well as in this video. I don’t have any personal experience with the pocket rocket stoves but I did do a lot of research before deciding not to get one and the main reason I avoided the pocket rockets was because of the amount of noise they make.
      I think the Odoland will hold up for a good amount of time and I dare say that if there ever was a problem to occur, I’d just buy another.

      @@cjswildernessadventures2946 thanks for the reply! And that’s really good to know. Me and my girlfriend are wanting to go camping and we are both looking into portable camping stoves like this one. She was the one that came across this Odoland 3500w stove and I had my eyes on the pocket rocket deluxe but don’t like how pricy it is so I’ll consider the Odoland 3500w. They’re going really affordable on Amazon currently it’s insane. I like the piezo and the wide stove head features I’ll admit. Is it quite light and easy to pack?

    • @cjswildernessadventures2946
      @cjswildernessadventures2946  3 года назад +2

      @@diegofonseca6708 yeah it’s the lightest stove I’ve personally owned. The orange box is only 10x10 cm / 4”x4” cube so it packs away really well and perfect for lightweight camping.
      It’s ticks all the boxes for me and my style of camping. I think if I ran into any problems with it I would definitely update my video but so far so good. For the price, size, weight and versatility it’s just brilliant stove.
      I hope my video and comments have helped in your decision making. This is definitely a product worth considering if it ticks all the right boxes for you too
