Instantly got a great vibe from you guys, so I never had a doubt you would love this vitally important band! Bah-che-prot is the pronunciation. And please, never apologize for supporting basic rights for all! Selfish, frightened, ignorant people will hide behind labels like "woke" or "politics" to avoid dealing with subjects that make them uncomfortable. ALWAYS stand up for EVERYONE having the ability to live safely! If tiny giants from a small village in Indonesia (Singajaya, Garut, West Java) can do it so can all of us! Indonesia is not Iran, there are certainly more freedoms, but they still had to overcome many obstacles that were in their way. These obstacles have only made them stronger though, rather than discourage them. They have four official releases, this one, God Allow Me Please to Play Music (their answer to some in their community who thought that they should not be playing this type of music), Not Public Property (their strong statement on women's rights and support for victims of violence), and School Revolution (a statement on the failure of their school system to support options/dreams). All their songs have very strong lyrics and they stand behind them firmly and with much conviction, but with an underlying foundation of love and grace. Welcome and prepare to be moved, emotionally, mentally and physically!

PMS stands for Perempuan Merdeka Seutuhnya [ women who are completely independent ]
The lyrics contain a protest against discriminatory and judgmental attitudes which are often directed at women who have mindsets, perspectives, attitudes and desires or dreams that are different from the general norm in the mainstream.
VOB made their new song a celebration for women who have succeeded in breaking down this stereotype and represent the voices of women from various regions that are still heavily influenced by social norms wrapped in patriarchal values 🖤
This single was written by Marsya (vocals and guitar), Widi (bass), and Sitti (drums) when the three of them were still in high school in 2017. “We wrote this song with the leftover energy from school. The thing is, at that time it happened that school activities were hectic. So after school, we gathered in the studio for a workshop on this song,

they were formed because of the social customs in their area of origin, so they carry out their social criticism through a heavy rock band where the type of music they play is very popular for those aged 40 years and over.

their all original songs is somestimes in full english language, and sometimes their mix english and indonesia language, and also in full indonesian language...
their pictures on those video was take it when they are perform in european tour concerts in part 1 and part 2 in 2021 and in 2022...
their all original songs and they all songs cover, they have so powerful messages on their songs, especially about fighting and supporting for women in the world...

I suggest you to react VOB' songs Not Public Property, Sundanese Instrumental, School Revolution or cover songs like Killing In The Name (RATM) or Sabotage (Beastie Boys).

their bassist name is widi, she's so badass, she's style punk rock funky music, she's usually slapping and tapping her bass, even flea the bassist from red hot chili peppers was follow them, and flea was give tweet and comments in him twitter about them...

This song has an incredible riff sound and lots of different vibes going on, but also have a touch of nostalgic era of 80's - 90's.
I love how Widi always adds such a kick-ass baseline after Marsya's solos. Meanwhile Sitti, as the beat commander, always faithfully controls the tempo.
What stands out the most to me is the harmony when everybody singing together on the chorus.

it's all so well put together! it's hard not to notice! like I said in the video, the bass solo was unexpected as it is not something bands "typically" resort to, also, bassists that do this need to be proficient in the techinque to make it sound good in the mix. so Widi is definitely a talented bass player!
