I had a heart valve replaced ten years ago at the Cleveland Clinic. I have had atrial fibrillation since that procedure. Having been fed up with my meds for ten years, I have been blending 2 whole lemons in a Ninja blender and adding to a gallon of water for drinking water throughout the day. Hi Mark - I'm in the fourth week of a six-week transition to (clean) Keto and my energy is just dragging. I'm very busy and have a hard time sleeping, so that definitely contributes to the fatigue. But lately it's been out of control. I'm exhausted every moment of the day...even to the point where I fall asleep several times a day while doing things! I'm turning to Keto to try to increase my energy (I've tried several other diets over the last several years.) Your comment got me excited! I recently discovered the numerous health benefits of lemon water. Then, I learned about how eating the whole lemon has even more benefits. I started with blending 1/2 whole lemon with crushed ice and stevia to make a nice lemonade. That has become my favorite drink. In all honesty, I truly can tell that I receive more energy and experience a better well-being right after finishing the drink. Do some research to discover the many health benefits that come from lemon and you will be amazed.
Hope you are using a straw or your dentist will be seeing you very soon. I use 1/2 lemon in 16oz of water. I measure the ph use a straw and rinse right after.

Just swish a little warm salt water in your mouth after consuming lemon or vinegar and you will mitigate the tooth issue. Also good for general well-being, cold and flu prevention, etc. Use good quality, mineral rich Himalayan pink or Celtic sea salt.
Agree, I do the same. We are talking electron field polarity. Acidic is positive and bitter is negative. Salt water from sea salt has a pH of 8 which is close to perfect for the mouth. I use the whole lemon but extract the juice first and mix in water and drink it with a straw and then rinse with sea salt and water. Then later I blend the peel and rind with water and drink it with no problems to teeth. This idea of ion manipulation works with fluoridated water as well, the extreme negative ions can be neutralized and amalgamated by adding mg Chloride which is extracted from seawater. Simply mix the water with magnesium chloride in a pitcher. This combination will assure that the Fluoride passes harmlessly through the body without binding to ions in bones and vital organs. No filtration needed. Any extra mg is used by the body. Better living through the application of smart chemistry.

Make sure you use enough water when blending. Blenders tend to produce a lot of heat around the blades, and many nutrients are heat sensitive. I recommend 1 full glass of water per lemon. It’s also better to chill lemons and or water before blending, as high speed blenders generate significant heat.

@@icediamonds11 Sure! Boil water in a kettle. Squeeze the juice of a whole lemon into a cup. Once your water has boiled, pour it into your cup. Not too much water, perhaps 1 1/2 cups. That’s it! Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy! Works just as well with cold water, very refreshing with a sprig of mint! Do not add sweetener, not even natural. The lemon will make your body alkaline. That’s what you want. 🍋 Eat a whole lemon too sometimes. Cut it up into wedges and bite into it! Deluxe.
Lemon is a miracle, when I have a cold I eat a whole lemon, It really helps a lot, makes me feel stronger and helps recovering much faster. Also squeeze some juice onto your palm and rub your hands thoroughly with this lemon juice. Do not dry with paper towel. Just wait and see. It will feel a bit sticky for the first minute but then you'll be surprised to see that your hands will feel greatly nourished, soft and supple. It even makes your skin pink and shines the fingernails. Such a great fruit. I love it.
Eating whole lemons seeds peel everything and simply eat it. I fought off the cov. I had no issue with my teath just rinse or brush. I also used black seed and sweet worm wood. Activated charchol. Lots of water. I have a tiny lemon tree
The only issue with freezing these lemons is once it is cut and exposed to oxygen you loose essential enzymes. Cut them and blend them on an as needed basis daily.
Would it work to blend other fruit along with the whole lemon and then eat a teaspoon full or more in some yogurt? Would that be just as healthy? Would it take away the bad effects on the enamel? And would it keep the good alkalinizing effects?

I have loved lemons since 6 months old in 1971. My auntie have me lemon wedge from fish n chips and I loved it they said. Now I peel lemons and eat like and orange. Also I eat red , yellow. Green peppers like an apple. Lemons give me energy and no amount of vitamins gives me what real food gives me. We have started blending the whole lemon; peel seeds and pulp; I use an Oster 1200 watt smoothie maker, I mince the lemon then used the shake mode at first, then blend on high, it blends it pretty smooth; then take 2 tablespoons of the slurry in a shot glass with pinch of stevia; we dont find it sour at all! first thing in the morning on empty stomach with water chaser to cleanse the teeth; same thing just before bed. no gagging on it at all, its very refreshing.
I started taking lemons 2 - 3 weeks ago, and it helps for my gout, and also for muscle cramps. I also felt more energy, and was wondering if it was just my imagination or not.
It's because whole lemon also contains potassium and magnesium which is good for gout and muscle cramps. I started taking lemon + 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar.

@@hannah5245 I prefer to do half or 1 lemon a day. If it is too intense for you, you can store your blend into the freezer. Separated a dose for a drink, but you need to manage the defrosting over night in the refrigerator
I want to share my positive experience with lemon. I used lemon water (3 lemon's/day) for assistance with weight loss. I would also add in shredded Ginger and zest of one of the lemons in the lemon water mix. My AST and ALT liver enzymes were nearly double the upper limit in the beginning. The total amount of lemon water that I would drink was about 30-32 ounces. The rest of the day I would drink water that totaled consumption to about 180-200 ounces. I also drank 10-12 ounces of Vita-cup black coffee. The end result was that my liver enzymes not only returned inside the upper limits, but, they were almost nominal. I will agree that taking sugar and white starches out of my diet for at least 6 days a week had a great influence in this outcome as well. I strongly encourage that everybody make that same lemon water mix and add spices such as turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and ginger with some light honey into the mix. This makes one hell of a detox and all of us need some of this.
Great video but what I do is throw one or two lemons in my blender and fill it with cold water until they’re floating a little then add my daily dose of apple cider vinegar. It’s not that butter all and really refreshing. You can also add a handful of frozen blueberries for an amazing drink.

I like adding 1/4 lemon with peel to a smoothie - with turmeric- pepper and cacao powder - and the rest of the greens and fruit - very healthy combination and I work with it until it’s delicious as well.
For alkalinity all I use is the juice of one lemon daily with two tablespoons of ACV and a pinch of Himalayan sea salt topped off with cold water. Tastes great and I get tremendous results. Find the pith bitter.
I blend a whole lemon with kefir and berries and kale plus a few other things I fancy. This makes a gorgeous smoothie to have in the morning. Sometimes I do grapefruit instead for the benefits from it.

Last week I took about a quarter of one lemon (with pith, peel and seeds) and ground it up in my green smoothie with some berries, thinking it would be good and a great way to incorporate the lemon. OMG I cannot tell you how bitter and truly awful it was - it ruined my whole smoothie. And I love lemons - have always eaten lemon like oranges, no problem. The peel, pith and seeds- that’s another story....if you can down that without gagging, you’re hard core 😂

I'm thrilled that I found a local grower that sells U-pick lemons 12 for a $1.00. I blend and then freeze dry them and have a professional grinder that totally pulverizes the dried lemons into a fine powder. Then, in the blender, I add the lemon powder, water with stevia and enjoy. ... I'm pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy swallowing a big lump of it.

It drives me crazy when doctors who should know better talk about getting the body into an alkaline state. Yes, you should eat alkanizing food which are plant based, but there are parts of our body that need to be a little on the acidic side to do their jobs perfectly. Our stomachs are supposed to be very acidic to do the job properly, and the blood and digestive systems are only slightly alkaline. Lemons are natural and unless you go overboard they will not upset the natural balance. There was a craze a couple of years ago to drink alkaline water which if taken too far can be devastating. Just be careful and trust nature.
Exactly. There is a dr Ekberg who explains that just by breathing your kidneys will reduce the acidic state of the body when neccesary. And you stomach should be as acidic as batteryfluid in order to digest properly.

If you have the equipment to flash freeze the lemon pulp there is still be some enzyme activity left on thawing. If you use a home freezer, there will be negligible amounts. As he says at 5:55 - 'We can't be sloppy about these things' Best practice - do it fresh!
I put a whole lemon in a blender with about a quarter cup of frozen blueberries(for a little sweetness) and a cup of water. Blend and drink with a straw to get it past my teeth.
This is true as far as keeping the stomach neutral as it converts to Ash once it gets into contact with your stomach acid. It will give you energy and vitamin C but to claim that it puts the body into an alchaline state is not true. It does not change the composition of the blood.

I tried this for 4 days with blueberries, then a mix of orange, apple and pineapple but it sits in my stomach like it's not being digested and my stomach did not feel good. I love lemons, made this fresh, and drank it slowly on an empty stomach but did not feel better.
I have my Ninja mixer. Great idea. I use to peel and eat the meat of the lemon but I'll try the skin next time. After eating lemons for many years my energy is through the roof and have not had any gout for at least 5 -6 years without taking meds. Plus it's great for the immune system.

I’m 65, complained about fatigue for years. I’ve worked hard and have reasonable health all my life. However, I tried intermittent fasting. I’m now eating one meal a day, a chosen meat and lots of leafy vegetable . I’ve more energy! Lots of drinks with apple cider. I’ll try the lemons too! To eat lemons more easily, try eating a ‘magic berry’. We can’t grow this plant in Scotland but found these in Thailand. Just eat one little magic berry and you can eat a couple of lemons as if they were made of Swiss chocolate! Data on the berry: The berry itself has a low sugar content and a mildly sweet tang. It contains a glycoprotein molecule, with some trailing carbohydrate chains, called miraculin. When the fleshy part of the fruit is eaten, this molecule binds to the tongue's taste buds, causing sour foods to taste sweet. At neutral pH, miraculin binds and blocks the receptors, but at low pH (resulting from ingestion of sour foods) miraculin binds proteins and becomes able to activate the sweet receptors, resulting in the perception of sweet taste. This effect lasts until the protein is washed away by saliva (up to about 30 minutes) these berries a ]re perfectly safe and nutritious, a true superfood. Apparently you can buy supplements but do get advice about suitability and use.
This is a great idea for lemon consumption.It is called miracle fruit (Synsepalum dulcificum)Even though better to avoid lemon contact with teeth. I am normally keto but lately I’ve been eating one piece of beef after fasting for at least 23 or 24 hours(not hungry, even then). For dessert I have my five carb lemon from the previous 24 hours. I fix fresh every time I eat. I squeeze the juice and drop lemon into the water and after adding multiple waters to refresh during the day, by the time I have my meat again my lemon is ready to eat, pulp, peel and all. at the same time of my fatty meat, I take my fat soluble vitamins, Only 5 carbs per day, and I look look forward to it as if it were a big bowl of ice cream.
Dr. James, very informative and do not worry about FDA, I am 85 years old and I know lemon is good for health though it may be too acidic for some people, but it is akaline too. I only drink the lemon mix with water and a little manuka honey in the morning on an empty stomach as I do not eat breakfast because I am on Intermittent Fasting 16:8 profolio. I have my first meal [lunch] at 1.00 pm. Having said that can you advise me what is the best time to drink the whole lemon and on an empty stomach. Thank you.

I feel for you Diana so I will give you a tip. Listen to The Plant Paradox. I am finishing the book now- it's amazing. Many tips that can likely really help someone like you if you follow them closely. I know nutrition, yet I am still learning a lot of great tips. Author Dr. Gundry is a Yale MD so he knows his stuff. Unless you want an ulcer- do not ingest a whole lemon in one shot. For example, I consume 1/2 of a full organic lemon- skin, seeds, etc. I dilute this in a blender with 16oz of water. I use a straw all the way back so it does not touch my teeth at all. You should also get a blood workup to see exactly what is going on. Feeling sick is bad and can lead to cancer. Identify the root cause. Diet might help but you might have other things going on. GUT health is critical as he talks about in the book. Medications even advil can destroy that.
I have the same blender, vitamix... Have to say i roughly slice off the yellow as i don't trust "organic" Each day I blend a whole lemon with water (skinned as above).
This seems to be tolerable way to ingest the lemon. I have blended 1 lemon, whole with other things added such as wheat grass, BHB ketones, ACV, MCT powder. I love all the additives but just can’t get past the texture of the blended lemon, I think it’s the skin. Now I will give this a try to blend up a bunch and just ingest a tablespoon per day. I make a juice with my soup maker , 2 cups of water, 2 lemons , 1 pineapple , 1 orange and grapefruit and not forgetting the superfood of all superfoods 1 tablespoon of Manoka honey .
I hope you do not mind me adding some extra's James, the lemon must be ORGANIC not GMO i slice mine in half and juice 1 a day and what a difference it has made to an undiagnosed gut issue that caused type of pain unimaginable for 6 months and then onto lemons for 3 weeks and Garlic but also no carbs or sugars - just make sure if taking other meds to speak to your GP first. I had to look up the “organic food” article on wikipedia just to confirm my understanding of it, which is that organic foods would be grown with fewer or no pesticides and would be better for the environment and the consumer. So, the lemons don’t have to be organic, but it’s probably a good idea to go organic whenever you can, no matter what food you’re buying. My two cents… Cheers! ; )
@@eden20111 because non organic will have pesticide and fungicide residue in skin. Possible they also wax them too? His idea of soaking lemons is a good idea. Organic lemons often have a bit of pin mould on the skin so if you are sensitive to moulds this is an issue.

I think the phrase "Lemon Puree" over "Lemon Sludge" might put more of a bow on this concept.
Just swish a little warm salt water in your mouth after consuming lemon or vinegar and you will mitigate the tooth issue. Also good for general well-being, cold and flu prevention, etc. Use good quality, mineral rich Himalayan pink or Celtic sea salt.
Use a straw. Most damage is done on initial contact.
Agree, I do the same. We are talking electron field polarity. Acidic is positive and bitter is negative. Salt water from sea salt has a pH of 8 which is close to perfect for the mouth. I use the whole lemon but extract the juice first and mix in water and drink it with a straw and then rinse with sea salt and water. Then later I blend the peel and rind with water and drink it with no problems to teeth. This idea of ion manipulation works with fluoridated water as well, the extreme negative ions can be neutralized and amalgamated by adding mg Chloride which is extracted from seawater. Simply mix the water with magnesium chloride in a pitcher. This combination will assure that the Fluoride passes harmlessly through the body without binding to ions in bones and vital organs. No filtration needed. Any extra mg is used by the body. Better living through the application of smart chemistry.

Make sure you use enough water when blending. Blenders tend to produce a lot of heat around the blades, and many nutrients are heat sensitive. I recommend 1 full glass of water per lemon. It’s also better to chill lemons and or water before blending, as high speed blenders generate significant heat.

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy! Works just as well with cold water, very refreshing with a sprig of mint! Do not add sweetener, not even natural. The lemon will make your body alkaline. That’s what you want. 🍋 Eat a whole lemon too sometimes. Cut it up into wedges and bite into it! Deluxe.

Lemon is a miracle, when I have a cold I eat a whole lemon, It really helps a lot, makes me feel stronger and helps recovering much faster. Also squeeze some juice onto your palm and rub your hands thoroughly with this lemon juice. Do not dry with paper towel. Just wait and see. The only issue with freezing these lemons is once it is cut and exposed to oxygen you loose essential enzymes. Cut them and blend them on an as needed basis daily.
I would freeze the lemons whole and thaw enough to make a weekly batch.

I have loved lemons since 6 months old in 1971. My auntie have me lemon wedge from fish n chips and I loved it they said. Now I peel lemons and eat like and orange. Also I eat red , yellow. We have started blending the whole lemon; peel seeds and pulp; I use an Oster 1200 watt smoothie maker, I mince the lemon then used the shake mode at first, then blend on high, it blends it pretty smooth; then take 2 tablespoons of the slurry in a shot glass with pinch of stevia; we dont find it sour at all! first thing in the morning on empty stomach with water chaser to cleanse the teeth; same thing just before bed. no gagging on it at all, its very refreshing.

As vitamins' levels decays over time, I prefer to blend 1 lemon each day, add a cup of water or orange juice, and drink it.
Also, it's obviously acidic, so take care of your teeth by eating diary or at least rinse your mouth. And for your stomach, take it as a dessert after breakfast or lunch.

I want to share my positive experience with lemon. I used lemon water (3 lemon's/day) for assistance with weight loss. I would also add in shredded Ginger and zest of one of the lemons in the lemon water mix. My AST and ALT liver enzymes were nearly double the upper limit in the beginning. The total amount of lemon water that I would drink was about 30-32 ounces. The rest of the day I would drink water that totaled consumption to about 180-200 ounces. I also drank 10-12 ounces of Vita-cup black coffee.
The end result was that my liver enzymes not only returned inside the upper limits, but, they were almost nominal.
I will agree that taking sugar and white starches out of my diet for at least 6 days a week had a great influence in this outcome as well.
I strongly encourage that everybody make that same lemon water mix and add spices such as turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and ginger with some light honey into the mix. This makes one hell of a detox and all of us need some of this.

Great video but what I do is throw one or two lemons in my blender and fill it with cold water until they’re floating a little then add my daily dose of apple cider vinegar. It’s not that butter all and really refreshing. You can also add a handful of frozen blueberries for an amazing drink.

For alkalinity all I use is the juice of one lemon daily with two tablespoons of ACV and a pinch of Himalayan sea salt topped off with cold water. Tastes great and I get tremendous results. Find the pith bitter.
I blend a whole lemon with kefir and berries and kale plus a few other things I fancy. This makes a gorgeous smoothie to have in the morning. Sometimes I do grapefruit instead for the benefits from it.

Last week I took about a quarter of one lemon (with pith, peel and seeds) and ground it up in my green smoothie with some berries, thinking it would be good and a great way to incorporate the lemon. OMG I cannot tell you how bitter and truly awful it was - it ruined my whole smoothie. And I love lemons - have always eaten lemon like oranges, no problem. The peel, pith and seeds- that’s another story....if you can down that without gagging, you’re hard core 😂

I'm thrilled that I found a local grower that sells U-pick lemons 12 for a $1.00. I blend and then freeze dry them and have a professional grinder that totally pulverizes the dried lemons into a fine powder. Then, in the blender, I add the lemon powder, water with stevia and enjoy. ... I'm pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy swallowing a big lump of it.

It drives me crazy when doctors who should know better talk about getting the body into an alkaline state. Yes, you should eat alkanizing food which are plant based, but there are parts of our body that need to be a little on the acidic side to do their jobs perfectly. Our stomachs are supposed to be very acidic to do the job properly, and the blood and digestive systems are only slightly alkaline. Lemons are natural and unless you go overboard they will not upset the natural balance. There was a craze a couple of years ago to drink alkaline water which if taken too far can be devastating. Just be careful and trust nature.
Exactly. There is a dr Ekberg who explains that just by breathing your kidneys will reduce the acidic state of the body when neccesary. And you stomach should be as acidic as batteryfluid in order to digest properly.

If you have the equipment to flash freeze the lemon pulp there is still be some enzyme activity left on thawing. If you use a home freezer, there will be negligible amounts. As he says at 5:55 - 'We can't be sloppy about these things' Best practice - do it fresh!

This is true as far as keeping the stomach neutral as it converts to Ash once it gets into contact with your stomach acid. It will give you energy and vitamin C but to claim that it puts the body into an alchaline state is not true. It does not change the composition of the blood.

I tried this for 4 days with blueberries, then a mix of orange, apple and pineapple but it sits in my stomach like it's not being digested and my stomach did not feel good. I love lemons, made this fresh, and drank it slowly on an empty stomach but did not feel better.

I have my Ninja mixer. Great idea. I use to peel and eat the meat of the lemon but I'll try the skin next time. After eating lemons for many years my energy is through the roof and have not had any gout for at least 5 -6 years without taking meds. Plus it's great for the immune system.

I have recently discovered that lemon juice helps lower blood pressure, as mine is high & I have been looking for natural ways to lower it so I would not need to on medication. To eat lemons more easily, try eating a ‘magic berry’. We can’t grow this plant in Scotland but found these in Thailand. Just eat one little magic berry and you can eat a couple of lemons as if they were made of Swiss chocolate!
Data on the berry:
The berry itself has a low sugar content and a mildly sweet tang. It contains a glycoprotein molecule, with some trailing carbohydrate chains, called miraculin.
When the fleshy part of the fruit is eaten, this molecule binds to the tongue's taste buds, causing sour foods to taste sweet. At neutral pH, miraculin binds and blocks the receptors, but at low pH (resulting from ingestion of sour foods) miraculin binds proteins and becomes able to activate the sweet receptors, resulting in the perception of sweet taste.

The plants are growing in our home and germinating seeds for friends and relatives.We can eat any sour tasting ( bilimbi,green mango, green tamarind)by miracle berries just the same sweet.Pieces of whole( use seed also)lemon put in a jar with rock salt and natural vinegar then use it after breakfast and lunch moderately.From INDIA( Kerala)
James says we need to eat 1-2 maybe 3 lemons a day and then towards the end he says he starts his day with a heaping scoop of the lemon sludge. That is a far cry from even 1 lemon. Did anyone else have a thought like that??

The title of the video says consume one whole lemon a day and he only takes one heaping tablespoon of his “sludge” and almost chokes. I found it hilarious and somewhat disingenuous.

I am normally keto but lately I’ve been eating one piece of beef after fasting for at least 23 or 24 hours(not hungry, even then). For dessert I have my five carb lemon from the previous 24 hours. I fix fresh every time I eat. I squeeze the juice and drop lemon into the water and after adding multiple waters to refresh during the day, by the time I have my meat again my lemon is ready to eat, pulp, peel and all. at the same time of my fatty meat, I take my fat soluble vitamins, Only 5 carbs per day, and I look look forward to it as if it were a big bowl of ice cream.
A keto diet is not a fasting diet!
Dr. James, very informative and do not worry about FDA, I am 85 years old and I know lemon is good for health though it may be too acidic for some people, but it is akaline too. I only drink the lemon mix with water and a little manuka honey in the morning on an empty stomach as I do not eat breakfast because I am on Intermittent Fasting 16:8 profolio. I have my first meal [lunch] at 1.00 pm. Having said that can you advise me what is the best time to drink the whole lemon and on an empty stomach. Thank you.
Lemons definitely a superfood! I drink 2 glasses of water and fresh lemon juice every day.

Keto diet results in dramatically more energy. Lemons are one of the best keto fruits (most aren’t, but you can also have berries.)
This makes me feel better cause I have naturally done this for YEARS when I go out I ask for a full shot of lemon juice in ANY I am drinking… including alcohol

I started using a whole lemon all at once, not just a tablespoon. I hope this works. Im almost 49 and my energy is so low I literally feel sick.
I feel for you Diana so I will give you a tip. Listen to The Plant Paradox. I am finishing the book now- it's amazing. Many tips that can likely really help someone like you if you follow them closely. I know nutrition, yet I am still learning a lot of great tips. Author Dr. Gundry is a Yale MD so he knows his stuff.
Unless you want an ulcer- do not ingest a whole lemon in one shot. For example, I consume 1/2 of a full organic lemon- skin, seeds, etc. I dilute this in a blender with 16oz of water. I use a straw all the way back so it does not touch my teeth at all.
You should also get a blood workup to see exactly what is going on. Feeling sick is bad and can lead to cancer. Identify the root cause. Diet might help but you might have other things going on. GUT health is critical as he talks about in the book. Medications even advil can destroy that.

I have the same blender, vitamix... Have to say i roughly slice off the yellow as i don't trust "organic"
Each day I blend a whole lemon with water (skinned as above).
Then you're not getting all the benefits...
Just clean your lemons with fruit 'n' veggie wash, soak them for awhile, then use a clean scrubby and rinse well
I’m using my Vitamix doing the same. It looks like helping my Acid Reflux and Digestive issues.
This seems to be tolerable way to ingest the lemon. I have blended 1 lemon, whole with other things added such as wheat grass, BHB ketones, ACV, MCT powder. I love all the additives but just can’t get past the texture of the blended lemon, I think it’s the skin. Now I will give this a try to blend up a bunch and just ingest a tablespoon per day. Thanks a million.
I make a juice with my soup maker , 2 cups of water, 2 lemons , 1 pineapple , 1 orange and grapefruit and not forgetting the superfood of all superfoods 1 tablespoon of Manoka honey .
I hope you do not mind me adding some extra's James, the lemon must be ORGANIC not GMO i slice mine in half and juice 1 a day and what a difference it has made to an undiagnosed gut issue that caused type of pain unimaginable for 6 months and then onto lemons for 3 weeks and Garlic but also no carbs or sugars - just make sure if taking other meds to speak to your GP first. Great Video and advice James shall have to start your recipe

I had to look up the “organic food” article on wikipedia just to confirm my understanding of it, which is that organic foods would be grown with fewer or no pesticides and would be better for the environment and the consumer. So, the lemons don’t have to be organic, but it’s probably a good idea to go organic whenever you can, no matter what food you’re buying. My two cents… Cheers! ; )
@@eden20111 because non organic will have pesticide and fungicide residue in skin. Possible they also wax them too? His idea of soaking lemons is a good idea. Organic lemons often have a bit of pin mould on the skin so if you are sensitive to moulds this is an issue.

I freeze dry slices, retains the nutrients and easier to eat.
I just started doing this and I actually enjoy taking it! Quite refreshing and easy to consume just my opinion. Too soon to tell on the energy level yet.
