Is there some knife trick I'm unaware of? Why did you go from knifing William (G1) at the beginning of the fight - to the fight suddenly ending. There was no skip in the video footage of you playing. You were sitting there in a continuous stream of motion on your little window, and the game just skipped the entire fight. Is there something I should know about this that I can do myself. If you cheated you can just tell me that, and save me a lot of time. I'm not going to shame you or anything. Now I'm going to go looking this up until I find a satisfactory answer, so I can replicate those results, because this fight is really annoying.
@@materialburst983 it doesn’t take long at all to get the medallions before going into the basement .RE3 was more linear but still the same in length as the equivalent of one scenario in RE2. I still like RE2 more btw.
@@jackjax7921 RE2s overall campaign for a single one is pretty much the same as RE3s overall length. Also, you can see speedrun times of RE2 campaigns being at or near the same time as RE3. People really just don’t understand design concept. RE3 was meant for you not to sit exploring and rather run because the story revolves around a “pursuer” aka Nemesis and there is no time to explore but run. Notice how Capcom cleverly made Carlos’ section in the hospital more backtracking due to Nemesis not following him. Hospital was my favorite area in all of RE lore.

RE3 casual vs RE2 casual is where you should look at for comparison.
