    I suggest the Connoisseurs Silver Jewelry Polishing Cloth. I've used it on my silver rounds and it's wiped off finger prints, milk spots, and even diminished surface scratches. Made my bullion look like it was just minted. I don't know why this isn't common knowledge. Many people suggest all kinds of liquids, or using erasers, and erasers actually leave very visible surface scratches (I've learned that the hard way). I highly recommend the cloth. It has two cloths in one. The lighter colored one cleans the silver, and the darker one polishes it. Makes it look like brand new, and no visible surface scratches whatsoever.

    I have always kept a lot of desiccant in my storage. Over the last 6 years have never seen a spot. However any I have set aside to melt I have seen it a couple times from sitting around. Keeping them all in with the dehumidifier/descant has always been a winner for me. I have put a couple of Perth rounds with one in capsule only and another in with desiccant. 2 years now and minor spotting with capsule only.

    If you are stacking silver, put the coins in a tube, they will still be desirable when you sell them years later so it does not matter. I would never pay for grading as per your example. Second, it all starts with the manufacturing process?? Basically, you have no control over them and if they are going to appear, it will just happen. Don't bother me none. Think about it for a minute, any residue from the cleaning process is literally "baked" into the coin. There's only so much one can do about it. You clean 'em, they'll eventually come back over time. Milk spots may bother the numismatic crowd (just my opinion), they don't bother me. Warm temps may be the culprit. You've no doubt heard about coins that develop milk spots after encapsulation (slab coins). Hell, store 'em in the fridge, maybe the spots won't came back, I dunno lol!

    can someone please explain why silver eagles sell for 25$ currently but buffalo heads are 20$. will the eagles always be more valuable or is it speculation?

    • @dankooryuk1013
      @dankooryuk1013 4 года назад

      Government minted coins usually have a higher premium because they have more recognition. The gold buffalo is minted by the US Mint, but the silver buffalo is not. The silver one is minted by APMEX, I think, therefore the premium is lower

    • @SilverDragons47
      @SilverDragons47 4 года назад

    I recently pulled my eagles & maples out of their tubes. Of the 45 maples I have , 2 are milk spotted. Of the 100 eagles I have , 47 milk spotted. Couldn't believe it. Wtf. All I ever hear is that maples are the worst. I wish that was the case for me. Most are not small spots, they're huge smears that cover the majority of the coin. So disappointed. & all but 2 of the spotted eagles are 2019s & 2020s.
