Very nice finds. I like nothing better than hunting for pudding stones in Northern Michigan. I live in cheboygan mi with my wonderful wife anna, who loves helping me hunt for them along our county lakes and along Lake superior. God gave us the most beautiful and amazing world... We just gotta make the time to slow our lives down and discover the natural treasures he created for us to find.!.!.!.!. There's so many different natural treasures we can find all over his kingdom. But I can definitely say for Northern Michigan, rock hounding for pudding stones is my favorite.

The pudding stones are interesting but I'd go nuts on this beach! So many beautiful colors, patterns etc . I paint on rocks, but I also love the natural art that nature has made. I look at them & wonder about their history.

Having the lake aspect is cool. However I feel rather blessed now that I live in central lower mi. Everywhere I look is farm fields and pudding boulders are everywhere. My collection is outrageous. My wife says I'm insane because I am building an outbuilding comprised entirely from puddingstones.

Ours are gravel to tennis ball sized having ground their way within glacial action to the mid west states far from Michigan. Cheers.

The music is powerful, immersive, and beautiful bringing a much more deserved moving experience to something typically left void of in lieu of representation to others. You have to be there to get the feeling the music conveys. Is also argue that the music diversifies and intensifies the interest magnification to a broad full spectrum of personalities, ages, and persons of complexly varied products of their environment. Disappointing to say the least you felt this way kimosabi.

Jim, I am hoping to find this same area on Lake Huron during my vacation July 1-7 at Petoskey State Park. Does this area always have these beautiful puddingstones or are you hunting early in the season before tourists find them? The puddingstones I find at Petoskey have little or no jasper in them, so I am taking one day to come over to Cheboygan to hunt Puddingstones on Lake Huron. Is there a certain road to take to get to this particular beach? Thanks for the video encouragement. Fran

    N. Dakota has this rock called scorio ? on the spelling. Its found in large areas and used like gravel etc. It comes in the coolest colors and shapes and mixes and densities. Some like slate, some hard as a rock ... haha well, some sharp like lava edge... I brought a lot home, started working it into art pieces .. then I got sick per Lyme Disease and that was the end of all that neat stuff. You can only cry for so long, then just mitigate all the symptoms and hope to get back part of your life. Cant stop trying, cuz doctors sure are not going to do anything for you.

I have to agree. With CBD. It made me into a poet. If I could get serious. I don’t know if your state has medical cannabis options, but I finally was ok’d by my doctor here in MN. It takes a little while to find the right combination of thc to cbd. But that was up to me to decide because they prescribed a starter pack of various oils, pills, etc. I take it for pain and anxiety. It’s a little spendy but discounts are available. Take care!

@@jimSP500 We're planning on making a trip up there next year to hunt some Petoskey Stones and Puddingstone. Seems like you had quite a bit of color to choose from, on that particular beach! I'm guessing it's near Cheboygan? Where is it best to hunt Petoskey Stones?

I don't even know why they even call them that. Looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like pudding that I know. Maybe those Easter hot cross buns maybe. Regardless, they look pretty. 🤔🥰🤗💖🇨🇦
