When music can make you cry, when the desperate plea of human nature when in a seemingly, no a world definitely only set on it's own destruction. When we all feel like that little voice enduring the living nightmare of today's modern boxes, never mind tomorrow's. Great cover again. Full of the intended emotions and same heartfelt integrity, we are all full of worrying about what the future holds. PTSD, come on in. Do you know any Bill Hick's numbers, I love the US and it's artists, i love all those with a conscience and the talented types who use that consciousness and channel it 👍
are you aware that (for me at least) this video is marked as the "official music video". that's pretty cool huh?? glitch on my part on RUclipss part I don't know, but still pretty funny either way
I can't even wrap my head around you having under 10,000 subs, let alone 1,000. The content you've been putting out is exceptional. You'll get there, I just can't believe I'm this early.
brilliant, ..., brilliant, I felt in love with your homemade ondes martenot. And I would love to built one. Is there a video where you are talking about how to built it?
I just discovered your channel (with another Radiohead video - the synth sounds one, as I'm on this big journey of learning about electronic music) and I was now looking more specifically for a breakdown of the 'electronic' intro/part of this song Nice work! And nice voice, too! You're quite similar in timbre with TY
I love this song man! My fav from The Eraser. Outstanding performance, really! I was expecting you to try the growing "crescendo" from the original version at the end of the song, i think its a determinant part in the song. Anyway, you deserve a medal from this!
Leandro Buschiazzo thanks! Yeah I love the original too for that exact reason. That’s the fun/tough thing about Radiohead/Thom songs, so many great versions to choose from... I went more for the stripped down aesthetic of the version from the Henry Rollins show.
I haven't really heard anyone come close to Thom's voice, and although you're obviously not 100% nailing it, you are certainly the closest person and I've seen a lot of covers. Nice. - edit, came back to also mention, I think too many people add a really strong American accent to their covers, which technically is fine as they're probably American, but I find it pretty cringy sounding. Good work on not doing that. Glad you went for the basement version, much prefer the earlier versions over the overproduced Atoms version.
Oh man this brought me back so many nice and cozy memories from my teenage years! It’s been years since I last heard this, and I’m so happy you did it. My favorite work of yours so far, keep it up bro
One of my favs. There's an uncanny resemblance to Thom's performance at the Henry Rollins. Good job, Joe! Please do consider adding A Brain in a Bottle and Amok to your repertoire.
Hi Joe, I watch a lot of your cover. I'm passionnate about Radiohead and their sound as well. And I wonder how did you get this ondomo/ondes martenot, it looks like a DIY instrument. Do you know if a tutorial exists to build the same, or if it's possible to buy it somewhere ? Thanks a lot for your music and for your work, and have a great day !
Reverbcore no training other than singing lots of these songs haha... it feels like a limbo in between if that makes sense? I guess they might called that mixed voice, or maybe like reinforced head voice? But not sure. I kind of “yawn” up to it as if it was a falsetto note and then add a little more force of air behind it. Which reminds me of that Yorke or Neil Young type quality.
Yes!! I've had the pleasure/luck of seeing Radiohead 8 times ☺️ first was Roseland in NY in 2011 (one of the first King of Limbs live shows!) and most recently, 4 stops on the 2018 Northeast tour. I saw Thom solo for the first time in Philly back in November! I know, I'm obsessed...
Definitely one of my favorite Thom Yorke songs. Especially the middle/ending, it’s so beautiful, eerie, and ethereal
3:48 He even reproduced the slight voice crack that Thom did on the original performance
This is the best version of the song, and you do a great job with it.
Spot on.
deadlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

It's obnoxious how slow his channel is growing. He'll get there though, because Joe is undeniable.
The Internet listen, I still really appreciate the support guys! Slowly but surely 😆

Hi Joe!!! Do you have the track without piano and your voice to share? I want to practice the piano! I would really appreciate it.
I love this song man! My fav from The Eraser. Outstanding performance, really!

Thanks, that’s the performance I was going for! Also, I covered Amok with my friend Taka a while back: ruclips.net/video/_dxfUD7PWsw/видео.html
This is great!

Hello, is there an instrument that you cannot play????
Bravo for your covers

Thanks!! It is a custom build, I’m hoping to share more info on it soon!
@@JoeEdelmann3 Thanks for your answer :)
And thank's a lot for planning sharing it, I can't wait haha !
Have a great day !
That high G note on 3:49 is so Yorke-ish, it sounds almost like chest voice to me. Am I right or is it a falsetto? Do you do any vocal training?
Reverbcore no training other than singing lots of these songs haha... it feels like a limbo in between if that makes sense? I guess they might called that mixed voice, or maybe like reinforced head voice? But not sure. This is so beautiful!
Have you ever seen RH or TY live?
Nice! I've seen them a dozen times, but I started in '03. And I too saw Thom and Nigel last month
How did you do that ondes martenot?
theharozomber I’ve been (slowly) working on the design with a friend, it’s still not complete - may do a video on it eventually when we finish!
Dude
beautiful as always Joe!
what kind of oNdes of martenot did you use?
Gabriel Gonzalez it’s a work in progress prototype - more information to come soon!
When?
Good job!
