I agree, though obviously these promoters must not believe this. I say that bc they literally had like 20 damn people come up and speak about how great of fighters these 2 are and how good the fight will be as if no one knows anything about them lol. This press conference was seriously the worst I e ever seen and a complete snooze fest. Like we don't need y'all to have all kinds of people speak to try and convince us to buy the paperveiw lol. They seriously tried way, way to hard to try to push this fight and sell it and it just came off as annoying and boring. This is an incredibly exciting fight. It is a career defining moment for both boxers. Congratulations to these superstars for achieving the success that they already have. The winner instantly becomes a legend in boxing history. In my opinion, Ryan's only chance of success is to use his longer reach and just box and keep the distance between him and Tank throughout the fight. If he gets cocky and tries to go toe to toe with Tank, then the fight will most likely end in a KO for Tank. It really is that simple.
This fight is 50/50, only if Ryan doesn't trade punch for punch with Tank. If he does, then its 80/20 in Tank's favour.

What's the problem with taking a good fight early in your career. Sh*t like this is what kills boxing. Fighters via politics and their promoters systematically choose safe fights to prop up a boxers record to enable them to get a big money fight.
A big money fight is not about the record/records of the fighters. It's more about the styles of the fighters and the talent of the fighters. Both Tank and King Ry could both of loses on their records and this fight would still be a great fight. The Mayweather effect is fu*king up boxing. Every fighter is doing all they can to cherry pick opponents that they think they can beat in order to have a perfect record. Boxing bybdefault is a "taking a chance sport." It's a brutal sport. It a boxing code as warriors in the ring that the two best fighters fight. The fans of boxing will always let you know that fights need to happen.
The Spence Crawford attempt is/was a disgrace to boxing. I really hope that the younger fighters comming up take a page out of King Ry and Tank's book. Stop the politics and just fight. The boxers are the ones that sell the fight based on their boxing skill set, not the records of the fighters. Since when does having a couple of loses on your resume equate to a boxer being a bum? Since Mayweather went undefeated that's when.
Most of the all time great boxers, if not all, had loses on their record. The only way boxing can be revived is if best fights best.
