God will give us the situations in which is up to us to use strength and courage to change what we want to change. We have free will and freedom of thought so God wont intervene directly so you can have more strength just for the sake of it, because we wouldn't have free will.
Pray to have the opportunity to be able to use your strength to change what you want to change. And well, if that situation is so overwhelming so that you don't have any control on it, you should pray to have the opportunity to have more strength in order to first endure the situation and then overcome it. You are the one who has to get stronger through the opportunities God puts you in your life in order to surpass the challenges you are having.

Or maybe just for the sake of being extended; it happens with a lot of musics. It should be a matter of asking the original creator what was its purpose. I think the purpose is the first one. Either way with free will people can create great things or the other way around. If human beings begin doing bad things is because they decided to do so, God has no fault at that.
