when you say south florida how south are we talking? im right before the kays and Ive never seen a snakehead even when fishing all the way up near kendall
I fish out of Jupiter in Palm Beach County, what canals up here in this area are good locations to find Snakeheads, bass, etc? To date, I have not had very good luck fishing canals, as I don't fish them very often but would like to pursue these Snakeheads. Thank you!
should try a white fluke there’s a doa one with orange tail and between me and my friend caught like 12 yesterday, cousins friends been using frogs and it’s been dead according to him yet slayed out yesterday
Bunch of fish, but it's not a secret canal when you're catching all small ones. LOL! That's the bad thing about using hollowbody frogs; snakes inhale them and you can kill them on setup.
If you use a lure with a faster and noisier action, such as a buzz bait lure, jump frog, jaws frog, I'm sure it will be more aggressive and there will be more beautiful snakehead explosions.
Make sure to turn the quality up!
its been hard to catch snakeheads lately because the amount of water in canals has decreased its gotten more shallower and alot less water
Try fishing structure and shade, they hide from the sun when the waters low.
Noticed that too
@BTFishingYT rain isnt usually the reason why the canals are shallow, because every year the state lowers the water level due to tornado season
@@alesddd1065 You mean hurricane season... but yeah.
appreciate some info on where to go snake head fishing in south florida while staying in Okeechobee. Have an 18' boat
Find the narrowest canals with lots of cover and vegetation
Aren't they invasive? Why would you throw it back.?
It’s Florida,everything’s invasive 🤣
People rather have a giant sport fish to catch instead of a healthy ecosystem.
Everything invasive in Florida
Because a couple snake dead ain’t going to make a difference

Just north of lauderdale you will start to find them, they aren’t usually that south
Juno bait rods are top tier I have the same one in blue it’s my ultimate snakehead freshwater snook combo
That’s awesome, I’ve caught lots of snook, grouper, and tarpon on mine as well

Just go about 30 minutes south and any canals there will have snakehead
Hi, this is a great boat for fishing in remote canals. I wanted to know, why did you release them? It's super invasive and I heard it's really good
Wondering that too. Plus, they're good eating!
Its legal to throw them back in the same body of water
How did you know you killed it before you reeled him in? Just curious. Awesome video!
It wasn’t fighting how it should have , and I knew it was common for some to die on the hook set so I instantly assumed it, I appreciate it!
I really like the snakehead fishing video, it's really good video.
Thanks!
new to fishing, do you know any canal spots that you can fish by foot in the plantation/davie area?
Never been able to fish in that area
@@BryceMarchetto so far I got 8 peacock bass on pine island and 84 4 on Saturday and 4 yesterday
West boca is loaded with spots if you want to head a little more north
How did that hook set kill the fish I never seen that before
Disconnected his brain from his spine instantly killing him, sad but pretty wild .
@@BryceMarchetto that’s cool ngl 😭

Heat in south florida has been crazy. Miami as im typing this is in 95+ degree weather.
Great catch
Don't you use a leader just straight braid I would think the snakehead can bite you off? Thanks 👍
Use straight heavy braid, that’s the best 👍🏻
Where are you fishing at?? what area??
I think boca
Could you share the location please
Sick!
drop more tarpon videos

Super fishing❤❤❤
Growing up in south Florida we were taught never to throw back an invasive. If you don’t eat it feed a tree with it.
wheres the boat fromm
Bass pro shops
The bait a littel bit bigger than my bait :v
🔥🔥
Jon B intro music hits hard
That set up is overkill, I catch them all day on a medium rod with 15 lb braid. Nice video though.
❤❤❤
