If anyone wants to play it on the piano but maybe doesn't have big enough hands for Steven's transcription, might I suggest the _mesmerizingly beautiful_ transcription for piano 4 hands by György Kurtág: ruclips.net/video/Z8lTh58jhA8/видео.htmlfeature=shared&t=360. Do *watch* the whole thing (and all the other transctiptions too), don't just listen to them: they are both visually and aurally a love letter to his wife.
How does Bach always manage to sound so modern and yet so Baroque?? But always sublime!
Very beautiful! The music and the visualisation with the bright background.
Majestic

Yes I was about to recommend this very thing! This transcription singlehandedly made me appreciate both Bach and Kurtag, it's so sublime.
