Our bin got a gouge on it once, more of a big scratch so it still worked fine. We called the city's 911 line saying our bin had been damaged during the last pickup, they came by in a half ton truck and swapped the bin out with a new one. They even marked our address on the new bin with a sharpie though permanent Sharpie markings all fade within days outdoors. There wouldn't be such problems with broken bins if people just called them in when they first noticed damage. Sure, it costs money to provide new bins but these semi-automated systems removed the need for two of three salaries for trash men with the trucks so we can expect them to replace broken bins.
Last clip was the best haha It's fun to see these LA guys pack carts. That one Rehrig was so dead lol couldn't hold anything! Did the driver pack it or was it replaced? Great video!
THIS system produces broken carts!

What do they do when they throw away the can? Do they replace it or they let the owners call and replace it?
People are just lazy enough not to replace their bins as always. They never ever bother about it and they break even more!
Is it that hard ti order a new cart like really? The green cart at the beginning
