It wasn’t done in a single take since he threw the mic stand and then it appears next to him, but that’s okay. The song is from an unreleased movie. The song was written for Dimash after the composer heard his videos. The composer then had 3 different singers sing a demo, which she then took to Dimash to ask him to sing the song for the movie. I understand the setting for the song in the movie is a scene where Christ is in the Garden of Gethsemane praying to God the Father, knowing that His life would soon end and He would be returning to His Father. I don’t know if you are Christian, and it doesn’t matter. Nor do I know the movie and what kind of symmetry they are using. It is a culmination point in Jesus’s life, and the song portrays that so well. Also, the words to the song are so powerful when understood in context. When I’m on my deathbed waiting for my body to give out, getting ready for the great adventure that death brings, I want to listen to this song over and over again… I want to feel Dimash’s power and emotion, and team it with my faith and hope, and die with this.

I knew the song was about Our Creator (who IS Jesus), but I didn’t know that a scene where Jesus was in the Garden before His death, was portrayed in the actual movie! That is so cool! You have the same hope as I do! I just wish we had a better word in the English language to portray what’s meant by the original Greek word for hope, which means joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation, rather than the meaning in English of hope being you’d like it to happen, but you are not sure or certain it will! Anyway, I’m sure I’m correct when I say that we both take the Greek meaning on board and I’ll meet you on the other side when we are safely back home, where we were always meant to be! God bless you!
