I respectfully disagree with those who are claiming Graziano being the best worst pro on Strictly, he has produced some nice dances in his first series. Maybe his jive and Cha cha weren’t the most memorable but his waltz, salsa, and quickstep were wonderful. I’m sure he was fully aware of the risk he took with this Cha Cha but, at the same time, the music wasn’t an appropriate choice for this style. Plus, the immense pressure he’s under to match the creativity of the more experienced well known pros he’s up against. Give him a little break people. Graziano is doing a great job with Vick. :)

It seems that this year’s cha-cha music picked by an idiot who happened to have a “Best of Disco” album or something. There was a little too much faffing about, but once they get into the cha-cha I could recognise the basic figures, lock steps, cuban breaks and NYs. It’s just that the quality of the cha-cha figures is not quite there, alas. 6
Deary, deary me. Not a good routine and poorly danced. Not to mention excessive faffing before they even started. They let the couples get away with that in movie week, but not every week. He is simply a bad teacher and choreographer. I really hope they don't invite him back next year. JJ was quite cruel (but funny & rather accurate) on his Twitter - I hope he doesn't mind me quoting him "I honestly can’t tell which ones the pro..... it was so bad!!!!". I thought Graziano was supposed to be a Latin specialist?
This was an abomination, En Vogue have been betrayed. I don't even know how bad the dance was, I missed the live episode because of work and I gave up on this video after 30 seconds.

The problem here I think lies with the choreo, not Vick.
I hope she'll be back, but the last three eliminations have been the people with the fewest judges points. And tonight Vick was there..

Opinion- Graziano is possibly the worst pro in Strictly history. He makes many of the dances about himself, wastes time in the dance (it took about 40 seconds to actually get into this dance) and isn't teaching many of the techniques to Vick. She should be a serious contender for the glitterball yet she's at the bottom of the table, at a serious risk of going home and its all down to Graziano's poor choreography. I know that the show had an issue finding a tall pro to replace Brendan but is he the best they could find? I see a lot of people saying Neil should've been paired with Vick I think he would be too short, but Johannes wouldn't or better yet, why not just keep Brendan. I sincerely hope Vick can make it far and also Graziano doesn't come back next year.

Why should he be given a break? He is employed as a professional on possibly the biggest dance show in the world and he can't choreograph a Cha-Cha with a least a few techniques to try and help her succeed. Ed Balls did more Cha-Cha-Cha in his dance than Vick did tonight

Anton is still good at Ballroom (although Kevin and Brendan surpassed him long ago in terms of teaching and choreography). Latin has always been his Kryptonite, as even he admits -- and it doesn't help that he's almost always been given horrendous celebrity partners to work with!
Actually i used to dance. I admit that i hated doing the cha cha. Its the hardest latin dance there is. There was very little cha cha in this, there were NO straight legs (the judges picked up on it) This dance wasnt about showing Vicks potential, it was all about Graziano.

Agreed, Amy. Overall, I find the Strictly singers UNsatisfactory, usually LOUD and off-key. The Sunday night show's featured singer was hideous, though, even worse than the house singers ~ "Paloma Faith". In Spanish, paloma neans dove.

The Great Button Shortage Of 2018....
Gosh the bullying brigade are at it again. New pros take time to settle in and learn the lingo as with any job. Gosh Id hate to work for people like you. It was not bad , everyone working there best enjoy the entertainment. Technique comes with time and shirley was so rude to Victoria-bullies her every week too.
I know that the pros take time to settle in, but going by the comments of other ballroom professionals, Graziano doesn't even seem able to dance in time. He was (apparently) dancing off time throughout the entirety of Vick's jive and was occasionally dancing on beat 1 in this cha cha - in addition to putting barely any content in it. I can forgive choreography blunders, illegal lifts and a tendancy to outdance your partner. But if he's failing to execute the fundamentals of the dances he's supposed to specialise in, that's really concerning. Vick deserves better, imo.
@@gemmasaharadancer In competitions and in Strictly cha cha is danced on beat 2. I've learnt it on beat one because no, it doesn't make that much difference in the grand scheme of things, but it's still a convention that he's ignoring. I don't care that Brendan was replaced. He was past his peak. But I still don't think Graziano is doing well by Vick.
Totally agree! Everyone saying he's the worst pro whilst conveniently forgetting that he's new as well, he just needs time to learn how to choreograph a dance for someone who's never danced and show off their best skills. As for being full of himself, he's given no indication. Haters gone hate.

UGH. I'm so frustrated with Graziano. He is so bad at choreography. It makes me incredibly sad, because I have a huge soft spot for Vick, and want to see her succeed. TOO MUCH EXTRAS! There needed to be less kicks and spins and more cha cha cha! She wasn't half bad at it! She needed work on a few things, one being her NY (looked a little awkward), but those Cuban breaks were good. She nailed those forward locksteps too. I hate to say that Vick's run on Strictly may be cut short by Graziano. Makes me sad. 6.5.
I hope he never shows up on DWTS, he'd be the male Allison Holker in terms of choreography.
ifeelpretty57 He reminds me more of Cheryl Burke right now! Got a clearly good partner, but makes the choreography all about themselves and sacrifices quality dance content. They both have had hit or miss choreography, too. (Cheryl's samba with Juan Pablo and Graziano's waltz with Vick have been the only 'hits' I've seen from either of them)

DWTS Observer but look its Graziano first season and probably his first time choreographing a cha cha you cant expect someone on they first time to get it right look at Giovanni and Georgia for example they rumba in week 3 was the same thing as this to much extras and when Giovanni came back for series he got better at his choreography just give him a break its graziano first season
DWTS Observer and its not really grazianos fault its just vick she aint doing the moves right you cant blame graziano for her mistakes that graziano probably told her to do
If Artem wasn’t on our US version this season, he would have done a lot better with Vick than Granziano is doing, showcasing her technique instead of Graziano’s poor choreography.

roter13 Well I don’t think he’s done horribly because he’s done well with Lea Thompson and Nancy Kerrigan so I think it’s more or less the partners they have for him. However, I do agree he should at least come back one more time. I’d like to see how he’d do again for a Strictly season.
Harrison Fox Yes! I was going to make a comment on this. I imagine this partnership with Artem would have been like his with Natalie Gumede. Artem is under appreciated on my home country show, and never gets good partners. Wish he would come back to Strictly!
DWTS Observer Yeah I was also going to make the comparison of her being like Natalie! She has that spunky personality! Maybe in the near future we’ll eventually see him come back.
Vick danced very nicely and her dancing gets a *8/10* but sadly Graziano ruined that with his choreography of nothing for 40 seconds and then doing even more non cha cha and that made mistakes. Sadly this might sound harsh but Graziani *3/10* HE NEEDS TO LEARNS

@William theRUclipsr2018 I really only gqve 3 cause i wanted to be Really strict and also I gave four 3's last year and I realized I only gave 1 3 for Seann's Jive so just trying to get my 3's out more. Grazianno wont be back I think.

I know new pros need time to bed in yada yada yada, but I’m always slightly alarmed that for an alleged professional dancer just how poor Graziano’s dancing is. To a point I think he’s surpassed the very short lived Jared Murillo. I feel for Vic she could have been a real contender if she’d had a more skilled pro.
I mean, it wasn't great, but I think it deserved more than a 20.

Wasn't keen on that music at all. Awful music choice. She didn't seem comfortable with the dance, sadly. It had a lot of faults regarding her footwork. So many mistakes, unfortunately. She didn't master the basic principals of this dance - she didn't straighten her legs, there was no hip rotation at all. This Cha Cha Cha was totally lacking hip action and sharpness. I felt I was watching a week 1 dance... it really reminded me her jive from week 1 (poor technique and lack of real confidence out there). Sadly, a 4.

I really feel for Vick. She had so much potential and If she had been partnered with a different pro, she could have easily made the finals. Graziano gave her such poor choreography and bad routines. I really hope that Vick knows her elimination was mostly down to him. Such a talented lady with so much potential. Even still, she should have survived the dance off against #teamcheat. His quickstep (if that's what you can actually call it ) was awful and Vicks cha cha was far better. Strictly bosses keeping in the scandal for viewers? I think so.
You did amazing with what you were given Vick and will be missed.

Vick really struggled with this number, and it's a real shame she went home early, it should have been Seann that week. I think all the basics were there but sometimes the wrong kind of music can put people off, and that was a pretty fast routine, granted, the choreography could have been better but even the best of the best can make mistakes
I’m sorry but isn’t the most important person in the dance supposed to be celebrity? The choreography again seemed to not suit Vick, I felt like she was having to perform at a much highly level than what she can do. Graziano seems to make the performance more about himself and hasn’t seemed to really teach Vick the steps properly. I’d love to see Graziano take a step back, allow Vick her spotlight and throughly teach her the steps so they can really go for gold and have a good chance at winning rather than making the partnership about the pro.
Rewatching old dances and I’m honestly glad they demoted Graziano. Vick had so much potential to be incredible she kind of reminded me of Natalie Gumede in the parts she danced well but Graziano made the dances about him and barely gave any content i mean really 40 Seconds going down to the floor those 40 seconds could’ve been good Cha Cha Cha content. Honestly Vick probably would’ve had a better chance of succeeding with Johannes or Neil hell even Anton would’ve showcased her better and Latin is not even his forte. I honestly think Vick should’ve gotten Neil or Johannes that year

I think Graziano fell into the trap he did in the first week-you don't want to distract from your celebrity(show Vick off for God's sake), and the delayed proper start to the routine was always going to rile Shirley. He'll learn.All that said though, my untrained eye is still trying to puzzle out why this dance(which they did better the second time around) was worse than Sean and Katya's QS.

Vick did struggle with this dance and everyone could see that. Her leg action was way too stiff especially compared to his and she never looked comfortable in the dance. And it led to a severe lack of energy as well as inconsistent timing. Overall, a very clunky attempt at a Cha Cha and the weakest dance of the night. I do think it was right that she left that week because it clearly was her time.
This Cha Cha routine was all wrong. Vick can dance ! Not her fault really. What a Shame . x

i like graziano but i'm disappointed... he obviously didn't teach vick well and the choreography was very mediocre. Someone in the comments told someone to give him a break and it's just his first year... no because Giovanni went to the finals on his first year and that's not just on having a good partner but also being able to teach and choreograph well

Can't believe no one is talking about how horrible Shirley has been to her throughout most of the competition. Unncessarilly so most of the time too, more so than with other dancers. Especially when a lot of the issues seem to be down to some poor choreography paired with an inexperienced teacher which is beyond the control of Vick.
