Kashmiri Autumn has been on my mind since long.
The pictures of fiery red Chinar trees has been playing on my mind since ages. But for the situation in Kashmir Valley and also that I love to sleep inside the car, have been postponing the trip every season.
This time, however, decided to give it a try.
Chose not much frequented route…Amritsar-Dera Baba Nanak-Dorangla-Narot Jaimal Singh-Kathu route-Samba for the first days drive.
Enjoyed the hospitality of my friends Gurjeet and Sandeep Chawla at Kathua.
Tried sleeping inside the car near a filling station on NH-44 in Kathua but for the heat and mosquitoes, had to drive further in the vee hours to Samba for some sleep inside the car, my Home on Wheels…!!!
