I feel like they didn't take it serious. Not everyone but most of them, seemed like they didn't care. Not hating at all. Just an observation of the 'Urban' scene... This was awful. Reason being: 1. Kojo Funds who has undoubtably made 2-3(?) 'bangers' is not really an artist. Clearly. Because he's made 2-3 club hits, the way the scene is set up, he was given this platform. 2. Linking back to point 1, not only was Mr Funds given a platform, he has now brought through his other mediocre friends. 3. This should be (as it is really..)a bunch of friends freestyling on the block or in a youth centre. Why? Because from the quality, you can tell this is just a passtime for them. If not, then at most they should be in a youth centre doing this and honing their skills, NOT ON NATIONALLY SYNDICATED RADIO. 4. Love to the BBC for supporting but do it properly and not blindly. QUALITY CONTROL. This gives off the impression that all you need is 1-2 club hits and/or to be a friend of a friend... Honourable mention to Notes, Ms Banks, Moelogo and Asco who this doesn't apply to. BBC hit me up man. I really know my music believe me ;)
