I think easily hammer is the better option for 1v1 because of the simple existence of war speed. War speed is probably a top tier ability that no one realizes the potential of. Using war speed you guarantee an escape flank or a kill, you can also use it on a crom or commet combined with their speed vet to run over squads before the ai can react and move the models out of the way.
Forgot to mention war speed, but obviously its a nice addition to all your vehicles though its a bit clumpsy to use with the engies considering it only activates on repair
@@elpern I don't think so, in fact I think the opposite. The only thing I can guarantee a UKF player is that they will spend a lot of time repairing. The issue I have is that royal engies are such a terrible unit most players only build 1.
@Ryan Vetter you are insane if that's what you think it's definitely the other way round. Churchill are Def good in 1v1 but everything else in anvil is 100% support based. You get massive value out of upgrading engies I'm team games and airburst is just extra damage vs entrenched positions. Hammer is all about agro, war speed to dive/ambush enemy tanks commets to make panthers and p4s cry and gamon bombs so that if you're playing vs okw or just really love base inspections you just win.
@@DustyPazner Dunno why you're blaming UKF engies since they are the second strongest in the game (beat both OST and soviet engies, obviously losing only to OKW)
@Glib Chubik combat engineers with a flamethrower and 1 conscript squad to merge are literally unstoppable. Pioneers get flamethrowers and multiple land mines anti infantry and anti-tank. And both are cheaper than the royal engies. They also repair really slow, and if you watch any amount of replays or play brits, you know you never build more than 1.
Brits must be the hardest faction to make a meta build order guide for because there are so many damn options, but that's why I love 'em :D. I also want to point out on the lend lease build, you could also start with a second infantry section, that way you can get both the medic upgrade and artillery flares. I would also not recommend using a mortar as the first unit, instead wait until you have 3 or 4 squads. Don't know if that's meta, but I find it works better.
You can skip the commandos in favor of the officer too because they better than commandos, they are the British 5 man obersoldaten all okw players ever dreamed of. While sure they don't have the camo ability and cannot fire mg on the move it does have a lot of abilities and with 2 brens they are 5 man obersoldaten while you can use them as CQC unit too. It's a very powerful unit and can be used to select different commanders that don't have commandos like royal arty. If you do a 1v1 on commandos vs officer the commandos will get melted. Officer with a commando is very op too you got 2 smoke barrage, double buff the commandos with officer ability + camo, arty and a recon plane. This last one I think it's pretty overkill to melt squads cqc and long range depending the role you wanna give the officer, instead of getting a mortar pit or a sniper, commandos while getting officer first would be a nice option too. The firefly is nice to replace an at gun because it hits very hard and can disable a vehicle enough time to blow it up, specially against tigers.
Against OST you can also start with UC+Assault Section/Royal Engineers (doctrinal preferably), place them in UC and easily flank the enemy MG upon spotting it, guaranteeing yourself a win in a first engagement almost every time
Very true! People are aware that grens get snares from the getgo, but before they have that 25 munitions there is indeed a window, and even a successfull snare at that point doesnt guarantee a kill on the uc, esp w cqc units such as engineers or assault sections close by!
Why people even build cronwell? Worst tankingame? Sherman kilka infantry better p4 also. P4 is much better anti tank. T34 is cheaper and almost as good. Cronwell is bad im my opinion. Better to go centaur and at gun
If you don't have engineers how do you deal with 222? The AEC looks almost mandatory especially if OKW goes LV, while 222 could just be beaten by a pounder.
either 6 pounder or aec, those are your options. Can't really rely on engineers snaring the 222 if your oppo plays well, but its easy to connect a shot with the 6 pounder which basically forces the 222 away since it can be dealt with by small arms fire. I agree the aec is better vs okw, though you shouldnt have any issues with a 6 pounder either as long as its not something crazy like 2x luchs
Meta is dull - especially UKF. I much prefer your Raid Section build or Tightropes Brenmando or Tankhunter builds - the opposite of dull and the polar opposite of UKF meta!
So what next? Orks or gondor?

Personally i prefer the isengard warg rush over going orc units first.

Good guide, altho you accidentally put the AT Section icon for the 3rd Assault Section
Haha lol yeah thats ment to be an assault section, good spot
I want to see you try out the twistedtootsy lend lease assault ukf build.
I LOVE THESE VIDEOS, please make more
What's wrong with the aussault officer?
any builds for vanguard operations?? or is it the standard traditional build order?
where do you usually put in the medics in the bottom path (non-lend lease)?
that smiling face behind u 😄😄😄
No body noticed the lord of the rings game at the beginning :)
One of the best video games ever.
brits = orcs ;)
But it was mordor i think🤔... anyway is there a way to play bfme2? It is not avaiable i think😔
For team games 3xff and recon unit in camo on hold fire. Y can snipe enemy tanks for good. Work perfect even elefant or jagt tiger can't do shit
Next Italian oh no wait...
