@@richardfarrington85 its like when you play a chord note by note rather than all the notes immediately, thats what the keyboardist is doing. usually you can setup a synth to play arps for you so taht you only need to press down the first note and can focus on somehing else instead but this guy is all in

yea I met him once at U street music hall in DC and several other venues un DMV region. he is super cool and puts on fab shows. must must see!
The complexity of his bass parts is only overshadowed by his good nature, soulful voice and lovely sense of humor.
