Speaking as a top 10% player, I love these changes. It makes me play and not just gloss over the decision process for augments. I'd much rather play the game than just click buttons. Can't speak for anyone else though, as there's definitely plenty of people losing their mind about this.
Also top 10%. Also love this change. I absolutely enjoy playing to win and climbing in rank, but I don't hop on a video game after 8 hours of mind-numbing work to do 3 more hours of mind-numbing button clicking. I want to be able to do some critical thinking, try some new things and figure out how to make them work, and be rewarded for it if I succeed. If the game is just a linear flowchart, I'm not having fun.
As someone who only made it to top 10% for the first time here in set 12, while trying to avoid all the stat based stuff and just playing with flexibility and gut feel, I think the change is really cool, I definitely feel like it levels the playing field a bit. HOWEVER, I will say I am not enjoying this set as much... it feels so... foreign almost... it doesn't feel as knowable yet I guess.
removing tft meta stats may be good for most, but I'm pretty sure it won't change much for those who are active in platforms such as youtube and streaming
TFT has been on repeat for the last couple of seasons for me. enjoy the start, set is learned hella quick, boom you can’t enjoy every build anymore you have to push for the top 5 builds.
i heard visionary is pretty good, its like the disco tf, slam trait, add bruiser/sentinal, heimer/tf and malzahar/zigg carry, play pretty much the same way except that vex 2 with shojin is a good opener
I dont need to read to learn how to play the game, each set i watch like 5 boxbox videos and i play better. You would think im joking but im actually not. Id be like iron 4 be overwhelmed, watch a couple videos and then dominate and climb to silver 1.

As a bot 40% player, I too like the change. Set 12 was just me looking up the top builds the whole set. It wasn't as fun imo
