    Merci pour cette histoire! Ma famille vient du Canada (mais je suis Americaine). Ils parlent français différemment que les gens Français. Je crois qu'ils sont considérés comme des Acadiens de la vallée du fleuve Saint-Jean. Nos ancêtres étaient «les filles de roi» qui comptaient parmi les premiers colons de la Nouvelle-France. Je trouve ces histoires très intéressantes. Merci pour les partager!

      @@aliceayel Ah oui au Canada (Québec)on est tous les descendants des filles du roy ...... la plupart de ces filles venaient de Paris pour peupler la Nouvelle-France...dans mon arbre généalogique ya a plusieurs filles du roy

    I find these so interesting and I have learned so much! The French spoken is just slow enough for me to understand but not so slow as to make it difficult to listen to. I like the way you use multiple verbs, etc. to describe words that are the same or similar. My husband who is a French speaking Belgian has also learned some things he didn't know about some of the subjects! We watch your videos together and, of course, he understands much more than I do (I am a novice French speaker - not at the "baby stage" but not advanced either). Would you consider doing a piece on Auguste Escoffier? Thank you for all y our hard work on these videos!

      I read a novel recently called Two Solitudes (1945) by Hugh MacLennan which was about the tensions between English Canada and French Canada. It is supposed to be a Canadian classic.
