I am still amazed at how hard you and Brent work. You two make it all happen , I'm just blown away at how casual you guys make the whole dairy farming experience look. If America had more people like you it would be humming along MUCH more smoothly than it is. Thanks for going to all the trouble to make it possible for we viewers to see how it's done.
free hat ...must be a farmer. Craig Ferguson used to talk bout the visuals during the birth of his two kids. Norma provided me with the reality. My daughter was born ceaserian ..sp? and the drape/curtain kept me from seeing much. Now I am glad.
I like your straight forward description of three teater, if people can't figure it out, they can look it up. Calf looks healthy and that all that matters. Good job and pace yourself.
Thank you for sharing your time with us, it means a lot to see the girls so well cared for and content and seeing you and Brent working so well together. Best wishes 👋
Great video Taylor thank you for posting and sharing your experience with us. Please keep them coming 👍 you are a fantastic and fabulous young lady with everything in life going for you. God bless and stay safe 🙏 Patrick Brazil.
Great video! I like seeing the interaction between u and Brent! Having never worked on any type of farm, I appreciate that u explain what u r doing! Glad that the calf is healthy!!
Hopefully people see an understand the amount of labor an love an dedication that goes into that glass of milk an question the Corp that call nuts an bugs milk ,shouldn't happen. It's everything but milk take care
Good video. Nice seeing more of boss man. Keep up the good work. Miss seeing you guys at the mill. There sawdust must be Cheaper. Lol. Have a great weekend
Hiya Tay, & Brent, Another great video; thank you both. Your new calves look so good; nice to watch them both eating down mom's milk, and it's full of all the best things for them, except, yes, you guessed, no coffee in it. Sad that they are coffee free, but that leaves more for you; plus, Brent holding down the skid-steer. As Allan said, you two are an example to people of how to work hard and grow your farm. Thank you for sharing Brent sitting on his ride and you doing all the work. Bosses everywhere! Hehehe Stay safe and caffeinated, Steve...
I was birn and raised on a dairy farm and when the dairy cows went in came the beef cows. I’ll milk in a tie stall barn any day over a parlor, just my opinion. Another great video Tay, your the best 😊
I have had both farms, tie stall an parlor. When the back started going I switch to a palor. The cows learn to come in on their own. Some always first an some went to be last.I still knew every cow.
Been thinking about the Smells of a dairy barn, which you cannot capture, of course. Each of the things you do has its own smell...and mixed together is a dairy barn. Manure, of course, but blended with cow feed, (we used both corn and grass silage) the hay, you tested by smell...all blend together. There was a product we used as a milk replacer after the calf is taken off the mother...It was called Calf Manna and produced under the name Albers. I wonder if that is still around. Good video.
As always great stuff Taylor !!! Thank you !!! You and Brent work good together until Brent holds the skid steer down to keep it from running away !!!! Hahahaha!!! You all stay safe and God bless !!!! Eddy
Hey Taylor, Just so you can feel warm LOL It was 32 and Frost on the ground this morning and as you know I am in Ocala Florida, And we have another big cold front coming in this weekend. Tomorrow it will be 82 here. Ha. Possible chance of sever weather coming with it, Sever Thunderstorms and possible Tornados to go along with it. Had Tornados from the last Big storm that rolled through. Tornado was about 30 miles Northeast of us. Ran across the ground for 6 miles. enjoyed your video, Thanks for sharing.
Taylor, if i tried to follow you during your hectic day i would exhausted at the end of the day, i don’t think i could keep up with you, you work so hard but i know all the Moo Moos epreciate all yours and Brett’s hard work
Hi Taylor , does the milk from your cows that just had a calf go towards feeding those calves? That’s a nice looking Normandy bull calf. I heard Brent say that he was thinking about keeping it. What is unique about Normandy bulls?
What a fantastic video. You really showed what farming is about in this one. I have a question. How do you know what each ow produces milkwise? Or do yo jot measure and/or weigh their output?. Just wondering. When I was on my uncle's farm we would weigh the milk in the milk machine then subtract the weight of the machine itself. Then we would know what a cow produced. Love the fact that Brent makes you do all the work while he sits around (LOL). Have a great day and God Bless.
Thanks so much! Well we only know exactly how much a cow gives if we milk her separately with a bucket milker but Brent is pretty accurate with his estimations. I know he’s just lazing on the job☺️😉 thanks for commenting hope you have a great weekend!!
Hi, thank you! We do have a plates that go behind them for calving but if we are right there during calving then we don’t put it out cause we’d just end up moving it. Thanks for commenting!
you guys seem to work together good what affliction does brent have that makes him walk like that years of milking? dont know who your kidding you dairy guys always say that but shes a good milker, my friend does the same even down to two teats!! nice hat when ya gonna start selling merch? each one take a side milking or you do it all?
Taylor does Brent ever raise any calves or does he just buy replacement cows I'm surprised there aren't any jersey farms or any colored breed farms or Holsteins that are near you I haul my own cows to market no cattle dealers here in CT that I know of
Great question, they are let out into our open barn as often as we can in the winter ( it has to be warm enough for them to go out be because we have some very old girls that can slip very easily!) and they are let out into pasture all summer usually until November. Thanks for commenting!
Taylor did Brent have any help before you started working there and does he have any kids to take over the farm when he retires or passes away and if he isn't there do you still use 6 units to milk
Hi, yeah he has had a lot of different helpers over the years. He does have kids but not sure what will happen when he retires. Yup still use the six machines when I milk alone. Thanks for commenting 😀
I think you’re pretty cute but I’m wondering mean where are you live I am in Turner Maine I’m sure you know where that is and I’m just a little curious I wonder what part of the man you live in I watch you all the time thank you 13:03

I agree, love the smells of a farm! Thank you so much ☺️
Taylor, I just noticed you clear the manure clockwise . This adds a load to the manure eviction system. Just saying... you and Brent are the best.

Nice looking calf, stay safe and healthy.

Hello kitty kitty cat and b happy ok😊😊😊
i like the new camera angle
👍
I give my fresh cows 2-3 five gallon buckets of warm water and they clean quickly
awesome seeing small farms overseas farming here in nz
milking 160 cows which is considered very small also
That’s what I did when I milked. I’d milked a little bit out of fresh cows. For the first time. Even heifers.
I could never milk without music on in the barn.
Nice video, Tay! You sure bring the farm to my living room. Thank goodness you don't post in the smellevision format!
You need more Ayrshires!
I liked the stall barn for working but milking in the parlor i didnt get kicked as often
Well that would be a bummer getting kicked a lot! Thanks for commenting 😀
Your new camera harness works really well.
Thanks I’m glad you liked it!😀

Another great video. Was wondering why you don’t have a freshening pen since you don’t have grates over the ditches?
Hi, thank you! We do have a plates that go behind them for calving but if we are right there during calving then we don’t put it out cause we’d just end up moving it. Thanks for commenting!
Where do you get your corn meal? From a local feed mill? What brand of mineral are you feeding?
We had a 3 teat cow on the farm I worked years ago she 97 pounds
Good cow!
I loved that Brent was willing to be in the video and this is the most I’ve heard him speak
I’m glad you enjoyed it, hopefully he’ll be in more videos to come. Thanks for commenting 😀

Hi Taylor what is thje temp there???
Hi, about 44 today. But quite a stiff breeze. Hope your weather is good!

Some cows when you touch their feet like that that you did they would have kicked the heck out of you
How many gallons of milk does your milk tank hold, and how often does the milk truck come and empty your tank, if you don't mind me asking ?
With continued crossbrediing, where do go? The current rage? Normandy won't be that. Why don't you employ AI? And breed true?
