Something I had to remind myself in regards to my size and weight is that I was a literal teenager when I got married, similar to you. It isn't *normal* to have a teenager's body when you're an adult. Especially after having kids! Rewiring our brain is the hard part ;)

Bodies are meant to change, different phases in our life = different body 💕 teenage years are great but so are 20s, and 30s, 40s and 50s ect. Each phase has Beauty and learning to appreciate the change is hard.
There seems to be a hole in the right sleeve of the sweater you found in the men's section! Also: you can put a belt around your waist (on top of the sweater) and then pull it out on top, so it hangs over the belt. Cropping without sewing! :)

That blue top looks so good on you! I have a hard time incorporating color too but I find that if I just stick to earthy tones it’s so much easier to mix and match.

Weirdly, I find it hard to dress in all neutrals. A outfit doesn’t feel right without some colour for me. 🙃

Those bell bottoms fit so good I'd see about having them hemmed and even taken up the side of the leg for a more narrow fit, totally possible

I thought the same! Spend another $20 at the tailor and get the leg you want. Especially if you generally have trouble finding jeans that fit in the waist/bum, that’s harder to tailor, legs are easy.
totally, it's SO easy to just sew the leg a bit slimmer.
Okay this might sound weird, but when someone has a good attitude towards their body and confidence like you I NEVER question them, I’m just like wow she’s beautiful, but when someone is so clearly insecure and embarrassed about their body or whatever it is, I FEEL IT. Does anyone else feel that way?

I will be honest, I don’t usually like seeing videos of my fave RUclipsrs with new (non-family usually) people in them, but your sister warmed herself into my heart immediately!
We donate alot to our local Value Village and get 30% off coupons. When we have alot of coupons we'll go in the store and give them out to people that need them. It was so kind of the lady to give you a coupon 🥺
It’s taken me a year to get used to the way my new body looks in jeans. Sometimes I still get a glimpse of myself in the mirror and say “ehhh” but it’s definitely a learning curve! I think you looked great in all the clothes! Loved the knitted pieces!

I don’t know why this colour palette makes me so happy, but it does - beige and brown and creamy whites are just so soothing 🤍
The “idk why I bought this” white shirt actually looks good on you! Could also be a comfty shirt to just hang around in while at home!

Those bell bottoms look SO good on you! Actually, hemming pants is like a really easy sewing project especially if the they're not strechy, so if you're looking into sewing I think it is a really good way to start. You wouldn't even need a sewing machine, although it would make it much easier. Oh! And you looked great on that blue t-shirt, you should totally add more color into your wardrobe. And you have so many neutral foundation items already, it wouldn't be that difficult to make combinations with more colorful ones

The blue top works because you already have blue incorporated into your wardrobe. Jeans are a staple, but not a neutral, they are still blue. So it's not a leap to go from light blue jeans to a light blue Tshirt or button down
Such cute stuff! I love that half-zip, but does it have a big hole in one of the sleeves? Probably an easy fix but you didn't mention it so I can't tell if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not!

I actually wear jumpers and shirts tied round my shoulders very often! If i`m warm and it’s sunny, it keeps my shoulders covered from the sun and I really like the look :)
Wish we had thrift stores like this in the UK!! Ours a tiny charity shops with 1 row of women’s clothing 😅

Mum of a 15 month old. I found any paper bag type bottoms made me feel the most confident postpartum. Paper bag jeans or linen pants/shorts with a tie or just with elastic. It makes your waist look small and hides the tummy region. Also very comfortable and looks super put together💜.

Add colors you would find on your own body- a pink that matches your cheeks or lips, the darkest color of your eyes, the lightest color of your eyes.
I would LOVE to see a video of your sister picking your outfits for you. (For a day or week or something) or maybe letting your sister thrift a head to toe outfit for you!

You always have such great luck thrifting clothes! I'm in a small town in Ontario and I feel like I only ever find old lady stuff 🙈 Also, all those pants look great on you! Just because you have a "mommy tummy" and it isn't perfectly flat doesn't mean it's not flattering! I always try to think to myself "if I saw someone wearing this, with my body, would I think they didn't look good?" And my answer is always no! Everyone is beautiful in their own skin! ♥️♥️

I'm 15 months postpartum and am NOWHERE near my previous size. I spent a year beating myself up over it. I love that you've embraced your new body so soon postpartum. You're a wise mama. (and P.S. : It doesn't show that your body has changed on camera. You're either hiding it VERY well, or maybe you're your worst critic. You look amazing as always.)

Use safety pins to crop tops and there is no sewing and won't ruin the knit. Also if you change your mind later you can let it down 👍🏻😊

Denim, light or dark is a muted color and can be a great neutral. It’s the backbone of my wardrobe. I like the blue jeans and top on you! You can add navy or dark royal blue as a jacket, coat or cardigan. Thanks for sharing this adventure!
